@scarlettgomez13 it was called "freddys nightmares" and lasted 2 seasons all the episodes are here on youtube :) though freddy is not much it in because of a low budget besides its unknown actors but some of them later became notable including brad pitt

@AppleSoldier or just beginning? some horror franchises that try to be funny (Friday the 13th part 6) fail miserably, but Freddy Krueger is a genuinely funny killer b/c he likes to play sadistic cat-and-mouse games with his victims. That's something true of him even in the first movie. FK's character really becomes nicely developed in the sequels. For me, the New Nightmare was when it was over b/c Craven tried to make Krueger scary again instead of darkly comedic.

@vorsdec fuck yeah! the new Freddy isn't even Freddy anymore. From what I can tell, it looks like the movie's lost Freddy's sense of humor, which was his main strength as a killer.
