  • if i dont put the tape or glue on the lens, will it fall out??

  • @omgitomar123 Yep

  • Thanks for the help, sincerely.

    Chubby hands, haha.

  • @PattyBadFingers Yep, size 14 ring...they don't call me sausage fingers for nothing!

  • It worked for me. Was hard to loosen the screen, but once I got it off, smooth sailing.

  • Does the replacement lens come with the little blue pry device?

  • @gtroddy yes

  • Very good video thanks a lot!

it was very helpful and i got my lens changed with no problems!

  • ive only just got my pink housing cover for my blackberry bold i need to change the black lens to the pink lens? can anyone help me/explain if you know?

  • @madcowgirl99 It is virtually impossible to install the lens on the 9000 lcd because the lens is glued to the lcd. THe lcd usually shatters when you try to pull the lens off of it.

  • does this method work with the bold

  • No, the lens is actually glued 100% to the lcd, so it is not humanly possible to remove the lens without breaking the LCD. The best thing to do is replace the entire assembly. We don't sell Bold lenses for this reason because we would be robbing your of your money by selling you something you cannot use.

  • good to know, thanks for this useful information.

  • thanka a lot this was so help

  • Great instructions. My replacement screen came with a adhesive "sticker" that I needed to place on the new screen. almost impossible to do so, and I ended up using a few drops of krazy glue to secure the screen

  • The lenses we sell have the adhesive preinstalled. I think we are the only company in the world that does that. I think it is beause ours arer genuine OEM and not copies like everyone sells but calls them oem. The problem with crazy glue is that it works the first time, but if you break it again, you have a real problem on your hands :(
