I think we'll get there, not by 2019 though, that's too soon. Perhaps 2050-ish. Microsoft won't be able to do it alone though, large companies will have to work together to make sure their software is compatible and can be read by each other's programs. If we can accomplish that, this could happen before I die. I hope so at least.
