Real Fox and the City fans know what Ragan is about. I have listened to his show since 2005 when he started his show, Have watched him perform slam poetry on several occasions. I also own both of his books. Ragan uses camp to outline the rediculousness of marginalization in society. Among other things.

I'm tickled by the comment re: a professor's use of YouTube and "appropriate behavior." As a communication and rhetoric professor (and champion slam poet) it would be a little suspect if he didn't know about or use emerging platforms like this as well as podcasting. He's not teaching in the 1950s after all.
