i live off of carters valley, it got really bad, we left our trailer, not safe ya know, went down stone dr. trees down all over the highway, i couldnt see more than 5 ft out my window while driving an was only goin 10 mi a hour, went towards a valley/hollar for cover. wind so strong i couldnt open the back door. left out the front with my daughter wrapped in a blanket in my arms. she was freakin also at 3yrs old she knew what was happening, very smart & im very proud.
Wow and you stood out in this? I had the kids and myself down in the basement taking cover! Scared the crap out of me...I heard about the Buffalo wild wings takeaway being hit and as soon as we lost power, I couldn't get us down there fast enough. Those winds really get to me now after driving back from Memphis through all those tornados in May!
