  • fuck beth gibbons!

  • What an amazing LIVE performance. Gaga eat yellow snow!

  • @jackflys What is a Gaga? Is that a sound a baby makes?

  • Great voices! This is track 2 of what inspired Michael Easton as he wrote Soul Stealer.

  • i like how your another that overstands what people dont understand bacause ther ignorent and dont understand what we overstand because we understand you see chair two next to me immeaditley i think the song will be a anotrher large check in the mail

  • I would rather have this weird girl in music over britney spears any day. Love you Bjork.

  • Bjork is pretty mainstream in the U.K

shes had a lot of top 20 singles there and her records do well but shes had a large influence on a whole lot of artists including chris martin thome yorke madonna gwen stefani and dozens more.

  • @Freedomispeace1 That's because she was signed to the Ten Little Indians label in England so she got a lot more promotion over here.

  • This is just beyond brilliance!

  • mmmmmmmmmm she is crazy/rare/funny/pretty/vocal......an artist !!

  • Zhoot meeeeeeeeee, Beyond this suffer (:

    Love that Phraseeeeew

    T.T

  • This is song is pure magic!!!

And she is a true artist!!

Notice that when her back-up vocals sing she stops singing so that her back-up vocals can be heard...!!

  • We are all on the same journey..energy having a human experience. this was my walk down the ile

    wedding song.

  • love her, she's great.....

  • Great!

One of the best songs from Vespertine. Bjork is really unique. The best female vocal i've ever heard(except Beth Gibbons, maybe;))

  • bjork no es humana

    es de otro planeta

uno q ella invento y q vive ella sola

  • Same :) she is individual and amazing. x

  • I think her oddities in her music are nothing short of gifts. Her presentation and her structure is very, very strange, but oddly attractive and intimate. A gifted person, truly.

  • You gotta love her.

  • shes a CUTIE i`d hit that:)

  • I knew of the SugarCubes before I knew of her as a solo performer.SCs received US airplay in the late 80s/early 90s.

  • Simply the most incredible women . love her style , presentation . WOW.

  • Gwen Stefani is obviously a big fan of Bjork. And Gwen is definetly mainstream

  • Bjork is an inspiration. The United States mainstream media/television doesn't seem to embrace her, but she still does extremely well in record sales. If you don't know who Bjork is, I suggest you go figure it out! :-D

  • Really. People scoff at Bjork fans, only knowing she's some "weird girl who sings weird songs". Yes she's eccentric, but she's one of the most talented artists in the whole world. Truly an amazing person.

  • @Pandaurso I wonder if 3 years has done you any good - - -

  • Don't forget, she also opened for the Olympics. How many "Mainstream" artists can claim that?

  • To all these "is Björk even known?" questions, the answer is a resounding yes. Although the US has neglected her due to becoming to eccentric for mainstream audiences, her name is still well-known throughout Europe and in popular musicians of today. Unfortunately, her name is often used by those horrendous Ashlee Simpson types, name-dropping to make themselves sound more influential and broad than they really are.

  • i love this song, she's a unique person

  • Most people who know who Thom Yorke is will know and like Bjork.

  • shes fucking weird

  • I doesent mean thats she isnt fucking amazing at the same time and that she has had a massive influence on contemporary music culture!

  • massive influence on contemporary music culture... haha. dont get ahead of yourself. most people dont know who she is

  • She did. Just cause most people don't know her doesn't mean the people who are currently in this 'popular contemporary' music culture category didn't pull inspiration from her. So indirectly a lot of people do know her =P But I see what you mean.

  • oioi mate go ask any1 who no's "clearly more than you" about music n find out who she is, how good she is, and how much her music changes mainstream music k.

  • This is one of my fauvorite Björk's performations at the Royal Opera House. It's a kind of duet with Matmos, 'cause they put all their musical personality at this song but it still remains our Aurora, the Aurora from Vespertine. The Choir and the orchestra make me shimmer. I think Aurora is the essence of Vespertine... the sun setting and hidding after a long winter, don't you think?

  • Well put.... I totally agree with you. Thanks

  • @FernanGudesmontir - My thoughts exactly, well put.

  • Wow, what an awesome live performance, thanks for uploadnig this, it's beautiful.
