I so wish I could have gone to the academy. Too bad I was so messed up when I was 18 yrs. old, I would have never lasted a day.

Who would've known 4 years later I'd be a part of the Coast Guard. It really turned my life around and gave me sense of purpose!

Dude the Coast Guard is so badass. I wish I was in the Coast Guard so I could serve in the military. It must be so scary to know you are going to patrol America's waters in the face of danger every day!

they actually put you on a bus from leamy to chase for the dramatic 'bus scene' from every basic training movie ever?  um, are 'leaders' supposed to be angry and exasperated on initial contact? i can't believe i fell for this shit for four years...if any of you cadets want to know how to get out of friday drill shoot me a message...or where to hide your motorcycles...
