How to put Eee PC in Advanced Mode

Like the other guy it tells me after the update that some of the packages

are missing and that obsolete ones have been used.

After when I type install kicker it says the kicker package is missing something

about the dependency tree and that their is no alt? kicker candidate. I have a 990A xandros Linux OS without a cam which I bought on EBay

with my tax refund before my case worker could take my money for back rent.

There is a way, but you have a choice of easy or advance mode anyway. Oh and the way to go from advanced mode back to easy mode is launch>easy mode.

this is awesome ... it took me 4 minutes to do and it works like a charm.

Here is the method clearer:

Open a terminal

Type "sudo bash"

Type "apt-get update"

Type "apt-get install kicker and press "y" when asked

Type "apt-get install ksmserver" and press "y" when requested

Type exit twice

Press the power button and click "Full Desktop"
