sorry but this test is bogus. when metropcs delivers speeds that rival verizon you will be paying a lot more than $60 for unlimited data. metro is getting better every year and will soon have respectable speeds once they update their infrastructure. they arent there yet though.

i dont know about the thunderbolt but i compared my bionic with my friends esteem and mines got 12-14 mbps to his humble 2-3 mbps ...im impressed by metros lte but its laughable comparing it to verizons lte

@th3absurdhero Yea, it depends where you are. I've done side-by-side tests and 90% VZW wins (LA). I too have seen VZW LTE get to 12-14mbps (amazing), but w/ data caps, you're just going to run out of data faster; lol. VZW finally upped it to 4GB, but unless you have one of the grandfathered unlimited data plans ($80+taxes), VZW is just too expensive. I tether, and I could not live with 2GB or even 4GB. $60flat for unlimited 3mbps (I get 3-5 usually in LA) is better for me. Nice phone btw.

That test was great did you clear the cache on the thunderbolt number 2 when you go out of the metro area how is your coverage nonexistent verizon still has 3g metro has 1 x n you know that sucks so really your metro is no comparison you going to a test do a realtors

LG Esteem is a good phone no doubt, shows Metro is coming up and wont get bought out like the other non contract phone companies. I was seriously thinking about leaving AT&T and going to Metro and getting this phone, but I decided to go with Sprint and just pay 70.00 a month and get the best phone ever. Why metro won. Simple metro I stead of taking the usual telco way of 3G then 4g,decided let's do 4g first and then ad 3G as a back up while improving the 4g so they don't lag. Glad to see metro get better
