One quick tip. Plug the lights into the port near where the aileron servo is connected instead. This is the flap channel and the three-position flap switch on the transmitter will give you much more flexibility. You can run with the lights off with the switch down, turn on just the nav lights and tail strobe with the switch in the middle position and trigger the gun strobes by going to the third position.

can you switch the machinegun LEDs off?

Yeah they look cool and i did my spitty and f4u corsair with lights last year but no machine guns ;-( plus i just made mine up out of a few LED's i had laying around so i couldn't turn mine off or on so they just stayed on all the time lol,the guy who owns TBL's is an ex f-16 pilot and is shit hot at scratch building rc helicopters,planes and cars ;-) just a bit of info for you lol.
