Bringing back the memories I had with this game is priceless. My best friend recently moved this past summer and she introduced me to the sims 2 (sims 3 didn't exist yet!!) and litteraly I started crying when I heard this, because I remember all the good times we've had(: I don't think sims 3 can compare because at the time sims 2 was legendary, and yes it's for sentimental reasons I ABSOULTLY LOVE THE SIMS 2!

I think the songs of The Sims 2 were a great improvement over The Sims. Maybe it's because The Sims was targeted at older audiences back then?. Haven't played the 3rd game yet.

@ConviDuke Oh man, you have no idea what you're missing out on. The only thing I can say I don't like about the new game is that is has fewer songs, and they get repetitive and annoying easily. But believe, it's so much more fun. Worth the money I paid for it. And the best thing about it is that EA games regularly posts free patches you can download online to add to the game or to fix small details.
