i meant every time but i think that chord just sounds odd because the keyboard plays some different notes over it, and the guitar is louder in this obviously.

guitar sound is cool, for jack white style playing it should probably be more raw but it doubtlessly was a good effect for the song

lol i just ditch all the effects and play through valve amps, saving up for an orange tiny terror atm and seriously those things are all you need. if i had the money i'd experiment with effects pedals like whammy

You can always just play it up an octave on the guitar. 13th, 15th, and 18th frets on the high E string.
