@doublekill470 You are an idiot. It is three tenths. It is the top track in the pacific northwest for dirt late models, and one of the top tracks on the west coast.
I really dislike the rear suspensions on dirt cars now days, I can't believe they can even keep a driveline in them. I'd make them fun on leaf springs and slide like they used to when they were fun to watch. Nowdays it looks like they're real hard to make consistant laps in. A real good driver I know ran Mod for awhile and said they were a fuckin bear to drive. I've said I'd just put a strut on the left and forget it, all that jumpin up and down is a waste, they're runnin solid topped out anyway
what do you think is going to happen carring the left front is useless any way yea car might handle better but! My thought is it produces too much stress on the right front suspension. done the same thing with my emod.
@jakeraces42 thats not a new chassis, maybe if it was a 2011 rocket chassis or a bloomquist chassis then yea theres no need for the car to lift like that, but i would say that guy is driving a somewhat older chassis and that is how those cars were supposed to get around corners
Looks like that J-Bar was exaggerated putting to much weight transfer on that right front.. AKA , the right front catching too much hell.. Why even run the front left ??

Very poor driving, why did he flip his car?,I thought the point was to go in many circles until some tool in a flagstand showed him a black and white flag,I hope he got his math homework done,I like eggs
check the related vids, charlotte flip the car turns sideways and then bites it don't matter if something broke or not you do that on a dirt track theres a damn good chance of a good barrel roll
my grampa used to race cars similat to that he fliped twice end over end three times side to side what caused it he lost a back tire the side hit the ground then lost it from there
to everyone that has blamed it on the setup or... not blaming it on the car at all-ur completly wrong. this has nothing to do with the suspension or an inexistant cushion. either the lugs were loose and the left front tire fell off, or the something in the spindle or control arms broke. I'd say the latter is more likely as u can c the brake line hold the wheel as the car rolls. Either way though, the tire came off, went under the car, dug in, and rolled it.
Willamette Speedway in Lebanon Oregon. Track is a 1/3 mile track. One of the few remaining tracks where you pit in the infield. Track was very tacky that night, we normally run slick there.
looks like the left front is rarely on the ground, like it's three wheelin, so the whole weight of the car is workin on the right front especially in the apex of the turn , so if there was already damage it wouldn't take much to finnish it off ( The upper ball joint)
I knew when I saw the car first turn that it would flip. Thats how they set them up nowadays. Where the shocks are real bouncy I guess is how you describe it so you can slam it in to a corner and stand on the brakes and turn it quick. It works good till it digs in like that one.
actually your far off. they dont stomp the breaks they smoothly apply them before the turn as they turn the car the momentum compresses the right rear spring and the rearend pivots underneath with the torque they produce it lifts the left front up if they use the right shock package they cna keep the tire in contact but they are not bouncy setups it is using momentum to turn the rearend underneath the chassis doesnt mean anything in regards to flipping this car broke th efront end and it flipped
@supercomet32 picking the left front off the ground requires alot more than just shocks. the car either has to be a 4 link rear suspension or a 3 link with a swingarm. you cant just put shocks on a dirt car and expect it to pull the left front off the ground. and as for the braking that varies from driver to driver. i never touched the brakes in my modified and i know some people that jab the brakes so its all about what the driver is the most comfortable doing
Actually it was the upper ball joint that broke, completely ripped out of it's socket, don't know how but that is what happened. We have sent the part back to the manufacturer to see wht they think...... Crazy stuff!!
Was worried bout ya Cadwell, Glad you were'nt hurt too badly. Will I be able to see you racing on the track anytime soon?? Take Care of Hodges for me this weekend k??
Literally stopped to load right as the front of the car hit the bump or whatever...

RF upper A-arm or balljoint broke, causing the RF tire to lay on the track and car basically ran over it.
