Remus Fusteac 41, his son Arthur Sergiu 21, and his nephew, Alexandru 20, were charged with human trafficking, running organised crime syndicate, money laundering and possession of firearms.
They were arrested and charged after a joint investigation by the Gardaí and the police in Romania.
I must say that it is great to see that the Europhiles are outnumbered on the internet. It may seem like nothing, but it reflects the fact that the younger generation are less likely to agree with the scam that is European federalism. Of course, such a comment will result in hugely witty replies from the EUs useful idiots, but the day will come when their disgusting EU comes crashing down around them after they realise that most Europeans are sick of losing sovereignty.
Not much point in outnumbering the Europhiles on the internet. The real place where the anti-Europhiles need to out-number the Europhiles is in the voting booths of Ireland. But, unfortunately, 41% of the Irish electorate chose not to exercise their democratic right to vote in the Lisbon referendum. They have only themselves to blame if, at the end of the day, there was a final outcome which did not accord with their views (as expressed on the Internet).
My comment was nothing more than a casual observation. A subjective viewpoint would concede that the younger generation is less likely to simply agree with what is happening in the EU. Older people, especially in Ireland, seem to remember an almost benevolent organisation that could do no wrong. Young people will be more objective and want a more democratic EU.
Those interested on the net would have voted. As a representative sample, the net shows that young people are more sceptical.
Not sure whether you are correct about the younger/older generation divide. One of the strongest campaigns (during the referendum) was conducted by We Belong, a civic society group almost entirely made up of youths in the twenty-thirty age group. And the informal poll (conducted amongst 1000 students at Trinity College Dublin on the day of referendum) revealed a 64% to 36% split in favour of a 'Yes' vote (and was, more or less, reflective of the final referendum outcome).
Firstly, the majority of the campaign focused on the economy.
Secondly, Trinity and UCD are certainly not reflective of the young electorate. Approximately half of people 18-24 are not students.
Thirdly, each of the university heads encouraged their students to vote yes.
Voting patterns over the last couple of referendums have seen those under forty are less likely to vote yes. This was seen in the first Lisbon referendum.
But you do not have any statistics in respect of the age breakdown of those voting 'Yes' in the recent Lisbon referendum. I may stand corrected on this when the relevant data emerges. But my belief is that in amongst the very high percentage of voters (67.1%) who plumped for a 'Yes' vote, there is probably a majority of 'Yesses' amongst those in the 18-24 age group. I accept, however, that, at this point in time, neither of us are in a position to confirm the exact percentages.
I have to say while Im disappointed by the result, I think the whole thing has been an absolute travesty of democracy. The way this thing has been conducted is more akin to Zimbabwe or Afghanistan. This has not been a free and fair referendum.
This from the same cunt who hailed the strength of character of the Irish vote in 2008.
Read your quote (it helps if you use quotation marks "") - now read your last statement "So we're like Zimbabwe/Afghanistan are we..."
Can you see the difference? Think for a minute... right times up. You've been a retard haven't you?
Nigel said the way this referendum has been conducted by the EU is similar to the way Zimbabwe has conducted their polls - with massive funding to one side and vilification of the other side using slur campaigns. UNDERSTAND YET?
Dear sucker of le cock (I've been practicing my French),
His reference was to the Irish referendum practice and procedure based on the Irish constitution and Irish electoral laws, in particular the relatively recent amendments to our domestic broadcasting laws.
The EU did not hold the referendum.
Ireland held the referendum to amend the Irish constitution.
'Nigel' is a self-righteous xenophobic wanker with self serving double standards.
Again you fail to understand English (maybe you should put your French lessons on hold and concentrate on your English).
Farage was saying the EU had a hand in how the poll, media coverage, and (vastly unlawful) funding of the yes campain in the referendum. Do you get it yet?
You're quite frightening. How can anyone be so desturbingly stupid AND have such a strong opinion. Thank God you are not in power...
A classic example of a sign of desperation - when one points out a typo in an attempt to shift away the shame of being exposed as an idiot on a public forum.
Will do as long as you come with me and we get ourselves checked out together. In general, a bit on the dependent side but scoring low on all other personality disorder indicators. In any case, I'll pay and I'll show you mine if you show me yours!
See! Not paranoid but friendly! On ther other hand, NWO shills are clearly not friendly, not very tolerant and quick to revert to talk of mental hospitals and gulags. Farage is right! Best of luck to Eire!
As I already explained, Farage has always known Laffan was a Jean Monnet Professor in UCD. He's just playing games during the "reveal" segment at the end of this video.
In any event, if we vote "Yes", Farage will thankfully disappear from our lives for quite a while. It will be a pleasure not to have to listen to his whinging, nationalistic arguments.
Not sure what that means. In the next decade, Ireland will be net contributors (financially) to the European Union. That scarcely constitutes "begging" in my view.
1957Rotu, Ireland is going to have 18% unemployment, long before the next decade is finished.
Lisbon doesn't ease that situtation. It simply accelerates the outsourcing of democracy.
You'll be begging to the IMF, while your laws are made in Brussels. Do you call that "freedom"? Irish voters have just further empowered the very politicians who've bankrupted their country, on the basis of lies about "recovery".
The only beneficiaries are the ruling class - THEIR jobs are now secure.
Interesting that your paranormal powers enable you to calibrate Irish unemployment at exactly 18% long before 2020. You fail to realise that - without the European Central Bank - the Irish banking debacle would have landed us in an Icelandic pickle (not just an Irish one).
Note Farage's totally fake laugh & use of the word "wonderful" after he used the words "I assume that you're a Monnet Professor". He knew her status long before she made her comments. Farage's presence added to the 'Yes'.
No paranormal powers were necessary. I made my prediction based on Ireland's collapse of GDP, exploding national debt and the fact that cuts in government spending are going to be savage in the years ahead ( Spain voted "Yes" in 2005 and is now in a depression, with 19% unemployment... so much for "EU to the rescue" ).
What you failed to mention is that the ECB allowed property bubbles to get out of control across many EU countries....
... and only made matters far worse for countries like Ireland and Spain by tightening too quickly ( suiting Germany just fine ). It's also interesting that you mention Iceland as a hellish example of the fate that awaited Ireland, were it not for the angelic saviour of the ECB.
Actually, Iceland's economy contracted by 6.5pc to June (less than Germany). Exports are surging. Unemployment FELL in August to 7.7pc. That's the magic of a floating currency; and it's exactly what Ireland can't do.
Being a member of the EU does not automatically entail joining the Euro. In any event, Iceland's membership is at least 3 years away.
As for Farage, I'm sure he did already know who she was and who she worked for. But so what? He was absolutely right to expose and embarass her.
Being a shill is one thing, but being a mouthpiece for EU propaganda inside universities ( I have personal experience of these people ) is an especially low form of deception and a shameless breach of neutrality.
You may have had experience of EU mouthpieces in your university. (I wonder who they are?) But Brigid Laffan is a serious player. I've read several of her articles (some of which highlight weaknesses in existing EU policy). To describe her as someone "paid to indoctrinate students by the EU" is to do the woman a grave disservice. She is frequently critical of the EU and its institutions. Have a look at her level-headed contribution to the IEA's publication on the Lisbon Treaty.
Dear Sir, you are 100% correct in your assessment presented above. Here we are 5 months later, Greece is imploding and the poopoo will start moving north like a domino effect. Greece will be bought out by the money lenders at 5 cents on the dollar once they're done dismantling it. I wonder what the fiery Irish will do to this sold out Monnet professor once it becomes evident she was shilling for the nasty NWO commissars and the money lenders à l'internationale ...
SAY IT AGAIN!! AND SAY IT LOUDER!!!!! I am from germany, I hope and "pray", wish and I am on my knees, that you VOTE NO!!! please irish galant people, SAVE OUR SOULS!!! freedom is everything!! pro europe, contra lisbon treaty!
*** Vatican issues Lisbon Treaty warning to Irish voters ***
The Vatican has made an unexpected last-minute intervention on the eve of Ireland's Lisbon Treaty referendum with a warning the European Union threatens the country's "identity, traditions and history".
*** CZECH REPUBLIC CHALLENGE lisbon TREATY IN COURT ***
The complaint against the Lisbon treaty a group of Czech senators lodged with the Constitutional Court on Tuesday challenges the compatibility of the EU founding treaty of Rome with the Czech constitutional order, it ensues from the text the court has released on its web page.
The senators claim that the Maastricht Treaty and the Rome Treaty are at variance with the constitutional nature of the Czech Republic as a sovereign state.
YES vote = no way back, we can't undo mistakes made in the treaty or the EU, our say in EU is halved. Some countries say is doubled.
NO vote = we are still in the EU, like we are now, and the EU must be more accountable to the people of Europe. It stops the runaway power of the EU parliament and its gravy train expenses.
The mature thing is to stand up and tell EU to correct the problems, not to give in to the accusing tut-tutting of EU politicians trying to tell us we should be embarrassed.
NO SIDE: Shinners, Ganley, Socialists, Coir, Eirigi, UKIP, Le Pen, BNP.
YES SIDE: all international chambers of commerce, most independent economists, 3 main political parties, IFA, IBEC, SIPTU, ICTU, most major trade unions, Pfizer, Ryanair, Intel, Microsoft.
Brits would take exception if an Irish politician went to campaign in the UK. I take the same exception to smug British twats such as Farage and Ganley from trying to brainwash us. British politicians f*cked up many times in history, with Northern Ireland, Israel, Iraq etc...I am sick of them.
YES SIDE: all international chambers of commerce, 3 main political parties, IFA, IBEC, SIPTU, ICTU, most major trade unions, Ryanair, Intel, Microsoft.
This women makes me unhappy to be Irish. She is a new world order puppet shill. The Lisbon Treaty is a nice way of saying "one world fascist government" where you have one court telling other Euorpean countries and their governments what to do. Pure tyranny. The same banekrs hwo funded Hitler are backing this treaty. Vote no.
"Germany's unforgivable crime before the second world war," Churchill said," was her attempt to extricate her economic power from the world's trading system and to create her own exchange mechanism which would deny world finance its opportunity to profit." (Churchill to Lord Robert Boothby, quoted in the Foreword, 2nd Ed. Sydney Rogerson, 'Propaganda in the Next War' 2001, orig. 1938.)
So it's people like her whom are brainwashing all these children on the streets like the Jugendbund Nationalsozialistische (Nazi) Deutsche Arbeiterpartei (German Labour Party) a.k.a Hitler Youth.
Handing out flyers and telling people how "great" it is, to sign away your rights. Yet when you ask them why? they're like "er.. it just is" (because I'm told so).
The EU is not Europe. Norway,Switzerland and Luxembourg are ALSO part of Europe,as is Iceland. Iceland is slowly coming out of recession thanks to having devalued its currency and keeping its fishing industry intact !
According to Brussels,Turkey is also part of Europe !
NO !
VOTE NO TO KEEP YOUR OWN CONSTITUTION ;CITIZENSHIP ;OWN LAWS & RIGHTS ;DECENT WAGES ;PUBLIC HEALTH & EDUCATION ;NEUTRALITY etc.
Listen professor laffan you DON'T speak for the Irish people, the Irish people spoke at the last referendum and were ignored. You speak for the minority and you're nothing but a paid EU shill. Shame on you!!!
This is nothing, just wait, the EU superstate will take over everyones freedoms that were hard fought for, democrasy will be a thing of the past, the leaders are after power and money, our own laws and customs will be changed forever,God help our children.
How can it be democratic that the British were refused a vote, becouse they knew that they would all vote NO.
I hope Farady wins the next election and gives the people the oppertunity to vote.
IMMAGINE THAT THIS BITCH CAN SACK HER STAFF FOR DISOBEYING HER ... BITCHEZ LIKE THIS I SEE EVERYDAY ... HOW SAD ..

VivaLaPol 2 years ago 16
Not much point in outnumbering the Europhiles on the internet. The real place where the anti-Europhiles need to out-number the Europhiles is in the voting booths of Ireland. But, unfortunately, 41% of the Irish electorate chose not to exercise their democratic right to vote in the Lisbon referendum. They have only themselves to blame if, at the end of the day, there was a final outcome which did not accord with their views (as expressed on the Internet).
1957Rotu 2 years ago
My comment was nothing more than a casual observation. A subjective viewpoint would concede that the younger generation is less likely to simply agree with what is happening in the EU. Older people, especially in Ireland, seem to remember an almost benevolent organisation that could do no wrong. Young people will be more objective and want a more democratic EU.
Those interested on the net would have voted. As a representative sample, the net shows that young people are more sceptical.
VivaLaPol 2 years ago 2
Not sure whether you are correct about the younger/older generation divide. One of the strongest campaigns (during the referendum) was conducted by We Belong, a civic society group almost entirely made up of youths in the twenty-thirty age group. And the informal poll (conducted amongst 1000 students at Trinity College Dublin on the day of referendum) revealed a 64% to 36% split in favour of a 'Yes' vote (and was, more or less, reflective of the final referendum outcome).
1957Rotu 2 years ago
Firstly, the majority of the campaign focused on the economy.
Secondly, Trinity and UCD are certainly not reflective of the young electorate. Approximately half of people 18-24 are not students.
Thirdly, each of the university heads encouraged their students to vote yes.
Voting patterns over the last couple of referendums have seen those under forty are less likely to vote yes. This was seen in the first Lisbon referendum.
VivaLaPol 2 years ago
But you do not have any statistics in respect of the age breakdown of those voting 'Yes' in the recent Lisbon referendum. I may stand corrected on this when the relevant data emerges. But my belief is that in amongst the very high percentage of voters (67.1%) who plumped for a 'Yes' vote, there is probably a majority of 'Yesses' amongst those in the 18-24 age group. I accept, however, that, at this point in time, neither of us are in a position to confirm the exact percentages.

Which is it?

So at least your not using missinformation, your just downright dim-witted.
Would you like me to explain what he said to you using small words so you can keep up?
00000Dean00000 2 years ago
You're right.... he also included Afghanistan;
I have to say while Im disappointed by the result, I think the whole thing has been an absolute travesty of democracy. The way this thing has been conducted is more akin to Zimbabwe or Afghanistan. This has not been a free and fair referendum.
This from the same cunt who hailed the strength of character of the Irish vote in 2008.
urfadder 2 years ago
sigh* Right listen up.
00000Dean00000 2 years ago
Dear sucker of le cock (I've been practicing my French),
His reference was to the Irish referendum practice and procedure based on the Irish constitution and Irish electoral laws, in particular the relatively recent amendments to our domestic broadcasting laws.
The EU did not hold the referendum.
Ireland held the referendum to amend the Irish constitution.
'Nigel' is a self-righteous xenophobic wanker with self serving double standards.
You my friend, are a weetard.
urfadder 2 years ago
Again you fail to understand English (maybe you should put your French lessons on hold and concentrate on your English).
Farage was saying the EU had a hand in how the poll, media coverage, and (vastly unlawful) funding of the yes campain in the referendum. Do you get it yet?
You're quite frightening. How can anyone be so desturbingly stupid AND have such a strong opinion. Thank God you are not in power...
00000Dean00000 2 years ago 3
'campain'.... 'How can anyone be so desturbingly stupid'... comic genius.
You display a talent for British interference in and lack of understanding of Irish affairs... are you Nigel Flange in disguise?
Hugely insulting as well to victims in Zimbabwe and Afghanistan, used by a cheap political party for a cheap punchline.
Shame on you and your degenerate ilk.

1957Rotu 2 years ago
enjoying your new role as the beggars of Europe are you?
WeAreTheBritish 2 years ago 3
Not sure what that means. In the next decade, Ireland will be net contributors (financially) to the European Union. That scarcely constitutes "begging" in my view.
1957Rotu 2 years ago
1957Rotu, Ireland is going to have 18% unemployment, long before the next decade is finished.
Lisbon doesn't ease that situtation. It simply accelerates the outsourcing of democracy.
You'll be begging to the IMF, while your laws are made in Brussels. Do you call that "freedom"? Irish voters have just further empowered the very politicians who've bankrupted their country, on the basis of lies about "recovery".
The only beneficiaries are the ruling class - THEIR jobs are now secure.
worthlessdollar1 2 years ago
Interesting that your paranormal powers enable you to calibrate Irish unemployment at exactly 18% long before 2020. You fail to realise that - without the European Central Bank - the Irish banking debacle would have landed us in an Icelandic pickle (not just an Irish one).
Note Farage's totally fake laugh & use of the word "wonderful" after he used the words "I assume that you're a Monnet Professor". He knew her status long before she made her comments. Farage's presence added to the 'Yes'.
1957Rotu 2 years ago
No paranormal powers were necessary. I made my prediction based on Ireland's collapse of GDP, exploding national debt and the fact that cuts in government spending are going to be savage in the years ahead ( Spain voted "Yes" in 2005 and is now in a depression, with 19% unemployment... so much for "EU to the rescue" ).
What you failed to mention is that the ECB allowed property bubbles to get out of control across many EU countries....
worthlessdollar1 2 years ago
... and only made matters far worse for countries like Ireland and Spain by tightening too quickly ( suiting Germany just fine ).
That's the magic of a floating currency; and it's exactly what Ireland can't do.
worthlessdollar1 2 years ago
Yet Iceland still wants to be a member of the EU...even if it has to lose the luxury of its floating currency.
1957Rotu 2 years ago
Being a member of the EU does not automatically entail joining the Euro. In any event, Iceland's membership is at least 3 years away.
As for Farage, I'm sure he did already know who she was and who she worked for. But so what? He was absolutely right to expose and embarass her.
Being a shill is one thing, but being a mouthpiece for EU propaganda inside universities ( I have personal experience of these people ) is an especially low form of deception and a shameless breach of neutrality.
worthlessdollar1 2 years ago
You may have had experience of EU mouthpieces in your university. (I wonder who they are?) But Brigid Laffan is a serious player. I've read several of her articles (some of which highlight weaknesses in existing EU policy). To describe her as someone "paid to indoctrinate students by the EU" is to do the woman a grave disservice. She is frequently critical of the EU and its institutions. Have a look at her level-headed contribution to the IEA's publication on the Lisbon Treaty.
