Yeah I remember this commercial, and the false advertising sense it created when you found out it really can't do everything done in this commercial in the manner in which it is presented.
@RawChristianSuperman No you couldn't. But what you could do was draw, record, and hit pause. And through playback on your VHS you could get something similar. Yes, the commercial did put us on.
What does anything with that game have to do with Mario the didn't even describe him can't they call it paint. It's like calling it castlevania paint or the legend of Zelda paint or grand theft auto paint
oh I remember this commercial...then I got Mario[paint and was severely let down at how limited the music/animation was in it compared to what they show you in the commercial.

@cartoonman103 some of the icons have mario themes, such as flowers or those music boxes from mario 3. i think it also has the mario jump sound.
that's basically it though, but to be fair there isn't a whole lot of content in the game to begin with.
