@xsoroton Too bad you can block them without making a big deal about it. Don't ask me how. Use google or crawl back from the rock you originally came from, or if not applicable, from the primordial ooze your kind originated from.
@xsoroton And oh, use common sense. If it looks scammy, it probably is. The recommendation from my time on the internets I can make is Mozilla Firefox with Adblock Plus, which that extension/"Add-on" may also be available as a Google Chrome extension.
@BruckThatsMe Actually the Bison is an American Buffalo. Just as the Red Panda isn't a Panda and a Panther can be either a Leopard or a Jaguar, depending on the continent, a Buffalo can be both and both can be called buffalo.
Why didn't you come with the solution that seems most logical to me? Don't split up the country in diffrent area's where votes count and just use the number of people that voted for the jackalope as the number of votes the jackalope recieved. aka: if jackalope gets the most total votes, it wins the election....
@robinkuipers93 Because then you wouldn't have a local representative that is represenative (see what I did there?) of what the locals want. If an area is highly Jackalope they will not want a buffalo representative just because buffalo won overall. The reason you have this system is because you don't vote for the prime minister. The party with the most constituencies or 'areas' win overall (if they have a majority. if not a coalition) and select the prime minister themselves.
@robinkuipers93 It wins the election? Which election? Districts exist because each state is represented by a certain number of congressmen, usually more than one. Also, within each state, there are state houses and senates. What exactly are you proposing?
@robinkuipers93 "Why didn't you come with the solution that seems most logical to me? "
Well, let's look at the USA for an example. There are 50 states, some based on geography and some based on political lines. Each get 2 Senators and a Representative based on population.
Within the states, you also get a state senator for each district and a delegate/rep based on pop. Where are those lines drawn?
Now let's say it's proportional. Majority rules? Oppression preveils?
Actually, isn't the best way to fix/prevent gerrymandering is by allowing district lines to be drawn based solely on population statistics and not on historical voting statistics?
Actually, isn't the best way to fix/prevent gerrymandering is by allowing district lines to be drawn based solely on population statistics and not on historical voting statistics?

In USA theres this thing that you need to win in separated regions... You might be the guy with more votes and not win (see bush reelection vs al gore) I dont get this... If you remove this system, the problem is also solved, right?
@macarion Ohhh now I understand what gerrymandering is... ohh we dont have this problem in brazil... because we dont separate voters to elect representatives.
Or you could just make no voting districts. If we did that in the U.S.A. from the start, then bush wouldnt have been president and things would be a lot better
I'm from Venezuela, last year was the Elections of deputies to the National Assembly. This is exatly what happened. Chavez's party candidates won getting much more deputies on the National Assambly just because of how the candidates where distributed. The worst part is there's too litle venezuelan citizen who are aware of this to make a difference, everything is a mess. For me, 100% clean elections, and democracy itself.. It just seems like an utopia.
Solution for next vid- instant run off voting (they have in new zealand or australia) when a voter can vote for two candidates and if your first choice didnt win even with your vote. Your votes gets sent to your 2nd choice. Allowing everyone to safely vote for 3rd party/ fringe candidates and not have to worry about your lesser of two evil candidate losing.
My district in NC got redistricted this year and my mostly liberal city got cut right in half into different districts so now the city is cut into two safe conservative districts. Making the liberal majority in the city completely irrelevant when spread across the rural areas close to 100 miles away.
And this happened where I used to live in florida where a district about 2 miles wide but 60 miles long was made along the highway because mostly poor blacks lived there.
Why can't they just REMOVE all of these ranges and split the representatives exactly to the percentages. much easier and more fair and we don't need weasels anymore
@EraixsWorld Making a five minute video for youtube is nothing like teaching a class for an hour and a half to thirty people who don't want to be there.
