@MrAdele1987 yes y can ajust the rectangles. if you have 5" square, the rectangles would be 5" by 2.5 inches. because in the video if u do the math, the rectangles are just squares cut in half.
Thanks Crafty Gemini! Love the series and I am going to make an entire quilt from this block. I have the perfect charm pack for the squares which are obvioulsy 5"....is it possible to adjust the size of the rectangles and make this work? Thanks again, so inspired by your videos!
Where is blocks 1 thru 5 and do we have to have them? Can we just make this block design...it looks easy for my step-daughter to make up as she is a beginner...
@TheCraftyGemini Thank you...if I had read a little closer I would've found it...lol. I will start with this one b/c it looks easy enough for a beginner to start on.
I am making this block today. Have already made the first 5. I am having a great time doing this. Your videos are excellent! Keep up the good work. I am anticipating the next block to come.
I wish they were all that simple =D I am on #5 & The 30' strips gave me grief =O But I am getting there. I still do not get as perfect a square as you. Practice practice
@tweetnes That's right, keep practicing! It's good try out a variety of blocks so you can decide whether or not you want to move on to more complex stuff or keep it simple. Either way is fine and you will still make beautiful quilts! Glad you are sticking with it. :o)
