  • @MrAdele1987 yes y can ajust the rectangles. if you have 5" square, the rectangles would be 5" by 2.5 inches. because in the video if u do the math, the rectangles are just squares cut in half.

  • Thanks Crafty Gemini! Love the series and I am going to make an entire quilt from this block. I have the perfect charm pack for the squares which are obvioulsy 5"....is it possible to adjust the size of the rectangles and make this work? Thanks again, so inspired by your videos!

  • Where is blocks 1 thru 5 and do we have to have them? Can we just make this block design...it looks easy for my step-daughter to make up as she is a beginner...

  • @65cmsmith All the info is in the video description box. No, you don't have to have them. You can make any quilt you want. Have fun!

  • @TheCraftyGemini Thank you...if I had read a little closer I would've found it...lol. I will start with this one b/c it looks easy enough for a beginner to start on.

  • @65cmsmith No problem. Good luck!

  • I really like the look of this block! I'm having fun watching this series :)

  • This is a great tutorial, very easy to follow and VERY inspirational. I'm just now learning how to sew, but now I want to dive into quilting!

    Keep up the good work!

  • Man, you're so good at this. Bravo!

  • I wish they were all that simple =D I am on #5 & The 30' strips gave me grief =O But I am getting there. I still do not get as perfect a square as you. Practice practice

    BIG HUGS

  • @tweetnes That's right, keep practicing! It's good try out a variety of blocks so you can decide whether or not you want to move on to more complex stuff or keep it simple. Either way is fine and you will still make beautiful quilts! Glad you are sticking with it. :o)
