a recent fighter to be ko'd by silva was chris leben. leben stopped drinkin and took up a completely new regiment. hopefully irvin will clean anything up he needs too and become a better fighter like leben did.

james irvin is an ok fighter unfortunately he is a small fish in a big pond that is the lightheavyweight division.he would probably have more success in another promotion or even another division albeit not quite sure which one but hey i do like his knockouts though they have been highlight reels fr sure...

I like Irvin's Fuck-Em-All attitude. He's one of my fighting idols. Most of these so-called "badasses" hug guys and shit after their fights and try to be respectful. Irvin knocks dudes out, then pushes 'em over with a big "Fuck you". That's what a TRUE badass would do. He come to bang, and doesn't waste time with the courtesies.

Exactly, very stupid if you ask me. Irvin is a really good fighter and I think that lose will do alot for him in terms of motivation and sticking to what he's good at...swinging. At the end of the day he said it himself. If he's gonna lose may as well be to the absolute best. No shame in that.
