  • ovcharkas would handle the job

  • them are fucking black bears , stupid arseole

  • The bear shouldn't have been there??? well dont build on its fucking back yard! The bear has just as much right to be there.

  • And when 1 of the bears decides to get the fish even if he needs to kill 3 dogs for it...

  • "it said. Im getting outt here"

ORLY?! I DIDNT HEAR ANY BEAR SAYING THAT!

  • This isn't so unusual...there are a shit load of videos on youtube with dogs chasing bears away...bears are usually non confrontational, so they just retreat.

  • they do not know crap! the bear was not in fight or flight it just didnt want to deal with the annoying ass dogs. so i left. it wasnt scared!

  • @drummerrb10 you are right

  • lol

  • I would just give the bears some salmon, not risking my dog's life....

  • This is why bears never will be top predators, bears are scavengers, way worse then hyenas who actually hunts

  • schnauzers ftwww

  • Bears are instinctively afraid of dogs for the same reason they fear wolf packs--too many mouths to keep track of.

  • @TheForwardGaze First of all, you are right about the word packs. It takes many wolves, 10 or more, depending on the bear, to drive it off. Secondly, you said wolves. Correct! But here there is only one Labrador and a Schnautzer, two breeds more then useless against a bear!

  • LIKE A BOSS!

  • Poor dogs! They are actually dumb enough to think they are driving the bear back. :)))

  • @Sorvos They were driving the bears back.

  • @SurfaceCollison Only fools believe that.

  • @Sorvos So the bear just happened to turn around while the dogs ran after it. Okay, makes perfect sense.

  • @SurfaceCollison It's natural for the dogs to chase him, even more so, they get bold when the bear is holdin back. BUT, the bear is afraid of us, people. That's why it ran away, not because there were 2 tiny dogs barking their ass off. Wild animals realize that where there are dogs, there are humans. They only fear humans. Leave your dogs unattended in a camp, while you go somewhere else and see if they are still alive when you get back.

  • @Sorvos A PERSON shot a gun and the bear still came back. The dogs chased it off and it didn't return, I don't usually agree with these Weird & True videos but that was pretty clear from the content.

  • @SurfaceCollison Free fish are too tempting for a bear to give up that easily. Although always wary, wild animals test a person's determination by trying. In this case, the people were rather interested in filming the bear, instead of gathering up and chasing after it. It the wild it takes about 10 wolves or more, depending on the case, to determine a bear to back down. So are you telling me that a Labrador and a chicken sized dog drove the bear back, which wasn't even paying attention at them?

  • @SurfaceCollison It takes special breeds of dogs to confront bears, like the Central Asian Shepherddog, Caucasian Shepherddog, Bucovina Shepherd dog and other powerful breeds, which also have to be in great numbers in order to determine a bear to think twice. My suggestion is to read more and go out there to meet some wild animals.

  • @Sorvos They definately would be, you see the problem is the dogs can easily out manuver bears. And they instinctively know how to deal with them. All my dogs have been like this and have chased numerous bears.

  • @Sorvos When a bear is running from dogs they are definately driving the bear away. Bears cant catch most dogs that the problem.

  • @surleyguru bears can out run dogs! they are faster than race horses! how about do some research!

  • @drummerrb10 Its much more efficent to live life and learn from experience. Where I live we have bears visit my backyard and surrounding woods. My dogs have been dealing with the bears for well going on 8 years now. No bear can even come close to my dogs athletic prowless. They make light work of the bears and drive them off everytime. They have even been chased by a mother bear, she was hollin ass trust me, but it just wasnt enough. They just toyed with her.

  • 2 more meals show up for dinner

  • I think its a good thing there was no fish actually lying there, otherwise the bears might have been bolder and taken out the dogs in a heartbeat. Obviously here the bears didnt see anything worth getting into a figh over.

  • That little dog has got some courage!

  • Dog uses bark. It's super effective.

  • DOG PWN BEAR BY BARK ATTACK !

  • nice video, no one was hurt as it should be

  • @gtesshotigb03 I mean the animals

  • That is too cute

  • why on earth is an equine vet commenting on this video? stick to horses dude

  • FENTON!!!

  • like a boss

  • 2:06 it doesn`t even look at the dogs. It looks at the camera guy.

  • Gotta love dogs. Could stupid cats ever do this? No.

  • @DCussen Actually yes, there is a clip of a cat jumping out of the bushes and scaring off a bear.

  • @DCussen Do you expect cats to run after a grizzly. Are u sane?!!!!

  • @DCussen funny you should say that...look up "cat vs bear"

  • the guy have gun , Weird True & Freaky

  • i love dogs

  • that's scary

  • dogs are awesome

  • the bear runs in the wood here because he is not so hungry!!!!!lucky for that little ,not strong dogs

  • @MK4YbestOf87 Bears are ALWAYS hungry. They need to pack on pounds before hibernation so they eat eat eat!

  • @MK4YbestOf87 No, bears are afraid of dogss as they move to quick for the bear, the barking also annoys them so they will always run off, the smallest dogs are best for this.

  • you need a pack of pitbulls with one or two dogo argentinos!!!!they would beat a grizzly back into the wood.he would run like a rabbit.

  • sm idiots here fighting here dat lets see if dogs can chase dis or that... u saw they did chase away it n several others so u mean d documentary is not true... y sm dog hater doesnt want to accept that dog is a incredible fren of men... it surely knw what is it but dogs knw that its important to save their family... u can see in you tube that dog always hv other species friens and they go well with their frens... i knw i feel safe with my dog i dont knw bout others... cheers!!!

  • That Bear could have killed both dogs if it wanted to...easily

  • @bttawfiq It would have to catch them first.

  • Very normal for dogs to act this way and very normal for a bear to leave.

USA sensation seekers, in the old world dogs have been protecting livestock and property against bears and wolves for thousands of years.

Funny to watch but als a big *YAWN*.

  • What's so weird about dogs scaring off bears? This was and is always true.

  • Well put together Short Clip

  • those dogs esp the small one have alot of balls lol mens best friend(s)

  • I've heard that dog have no sense of big or small, does that goes with bears? I'm sure "bigness" works as a fright on some creatures ._.

  • @GloomyBearEat that's total bullshit, my dog bullies dogs his size, but dogs bigger then him he respects lol. And bears just hate dogs, they're loud and annoying and hard for something so big to catch, they would rather just leave then deal with it.

  • @Sjamsucks just as you said, size doesn't matter, thank you for agree with me by calling me bullshitting

  • @GloomyBearEat size does matters, you know that

  • Mans best friend indeed

  • deutscher schnauzer !!! hammer krasse haunde !!!

  • that bear is a pussy LOL

  • i bet the dogs wouldn't chase a lion or a leapord !!!!

  • mans best friend enough said :))

  • When you go into the wilderness like that, it's important that you remember you are in the bears territory. Dogs, especially young ones, tend to irritate or even attract bears. Not to mention having that fish out in the open like that; these people were just asking for trouble.

They are extremely lucky to have encountered such a docile grizzly.

Also, they are lucky to have survived this, and that their dogs were unharmed.

I hope they learned from this.

  • @xRyxRyx

Do tell, a good bear dog is worth its weight in gold, but all the sourdoughs say never, never take anything less into bear country. The fool dog will run out and pick a fight with the first bruin it sees, then come running home to mamma, tail-between-legs.... with an enraged bear in hot pursuit.

We see the problem with that, don't we?

  • @xRyxRyx actually most bears are afraid of dogs.... i live in the bush trust me

  • @jordmusky I am a behavioral biologist. Trust me too

  • @xRyxRyx oh yeah, good for you i bet you learned in a big city eh. I saw straight up my shit tzu/ mini poodle chase down a bear in front of me, don't learn that with a degree. You would also know that bears are not built to fight and only use intimidation tactics eh?

  • @xRyxRyx actually let me rephrase that last point, they try to only use intimidation tactics, and if you get scared your done. But dogs are loyal, and won't back down when their owner is in trouble. Trust me i've experienced it. Not read about it.

  • @xRyxRyx Bears aren't just afraid of dogs for no reason. Dogs especially LSGD like Kangals and Ovtcharkas can kill bears with ease, Wolves who can easily be killed by the aforementioned dogs kill bears in the wild over food alot. Bears are naturally afraid of things like spiders that is how they live so long but it is true when a mama bear feels her cubs are threatened or when a starving black bear hunts it is a very dangerous animal but it does not compare to the power to size ratio of a dog.

  • The bears didnt do anything wrong. The dogs werent heroes at all, it was anyone was in danger. He was inside his house taking a video. The dogs have balls tho

  • those dogs are inspirational

  • my friend had two malamutes, titan and cyclops (he had one good eye), both huge 150 pound males, he was camping and fishing in upper alaska with his two dogs and had been storing several fish in coolers next to his tent (bad idea)..a large grizzly paid a visit to his campsite and unlike the bear in the video which ran away, this one stayed for a fight, dogs can only injure a bear, not kill it,the bear was eventually driven off, but cyclops was killed defending his owner, titan was badly injured

  • i actually feel sad for the bear instead.

  • now cn a cat do tht?

  • By the way the dogs real name was Chuck Norris, Coincidence ?

  • Bear:giv yo samen fool

    me:XDXDXDXDXD

  • @ajtheghostblood

    What???

  • Where the bear shouldn't be. what? you Fucking Dumbass you built your Fucking cottage where it shouldn't be BITCH dumb ASS human.

  • @RedPyramid1000 I think the man meant that the dog was seeing it in that way. Quote: ' It was protecting it's territory...' was what he said, just before '...and there was this big old bear that shouldn't be there.' This implies that the dog, not the human, felt intruded upon. Since the dogs recognize that place as their home. (if your going by those set words. It was quite clear that the humans tried to shoo away the bear too.) Just wanted to put that out there.

  • It's like a real-live modern version of my all-time favorite movie, "Old Yeller", you know with the bear fight scene.

  • i love dogs, they aint affraid of shit !

  • if this bear hears justin bieber gay songs. It will run away.

  • yakutat sounds like yak attack !

  • Those stupid ass dogs were lucky...

  • its a dangerous situation a bear vs a man with 3 dogs and a shotgun

  • I've readed about dogs that dogs wing their tail on left side when they are happy/exited but on right side when they have aggression situtations. Those both dogs definitely wings their tails on left side, which just tells that those dogs don't know that bear is dangerous, dogs are happy/exited from the bear and they more likely want's to play with it.

  • That's so funny because that bear could EFFORTLESSLY kill any one of those dogs with a single blow. Just goes to show how much psychology matters in these things.

  • @phillyspartanfan Yea man that is very true crazy but true

  • that bear is a pussy

  • PUSSY ASS BEAR.

  • Dogs are mans best friend.....they would lay down their life for Us...

What have we done for them as a species that they have this instinct to do this for us ?

  • Good Doggies!

  • HELL YEAH!

  • This video made me believe in Unicorns.

  • the dogs propably warned the bear not to fuck with the humans cause it will easily get killed by them

  • He said the bears shouldn't be there? BAHAHAHA Somebody needs to tell this idiot that the bears were there first. Geeze

  • LOOOL Like this is you actually said "WHAT THE FUCK"

  • they didn't read the leaflet properly

  • the guy that said the bear would swing at the dog and lay it to pieces.. true. but did u know they did a test. They put a baby pupy, tiger and bear and let them grow up together and the dog grew up as the pack leader? They found out that the dog wasnt the strongest but just the "BARK" of a dog shows dominant and leadership over other animals. When the dog barked they came to attention and went after what the dog did. So maybe that had something to do with this video? idk

  • Schnauzer rules!!!

  • lets see if they can scare away yogi bear..

  • @decodexxx345 lol

  • if that bear turned around and swung at those dogs with its paw, those dogs would be sliced in pieces

  • Balls of fucking DIAMONDS!

  • go out in the lake and get ur own food bear!!!

  • bear: im ofa dis!!!!!!!

  • i had a schnauzer all growing up which died a year ago. i will always love schnauzers.

  • its amazing how these small dogs will chase off bears when even a bodybuilder would stand there and shit their pants

  • bear is very powerful without any doubt.it can kill a moose. you can see it on youtube. but the bear cannot catch the agile dogs and the incessant barking is obviously irritating.

  • these fool....they obviously dont know bear is not going to start fight with dogs which the bear was concern that the dog's barking may attract their human owner with guns that would give the bear an instant kill with just a blast on the skull. try to send couple of "muted" dog and i assure you these dog will not make it back alive...

  • BEAR:not no goddamned dogs again!! Heeeeeelp! Heeeeeelp!...I was a mail man in the past life!"

DOG: "come here im gonna getcha right in the leg!!!"

  • @shields817 Hmmmm yeah, not really funny, but well tried anyway.

  • @patergaskin And your funny?

  • @shields817 I'm not trying to be... That's the difference.

  • @patergaskin The only thing your trying to be is a prick, thats the difference.

  • so why do they say try and make yourself bigger..weird

  • Bears have no concept of size.. we have a 7 pound

papion that barks constantly and she scares away

black bears.. just like these dogs. Just goes to show

if you stand your ground with an animal like this

9 time out of 10 it will flea the scene.

  • I feel sorry for the bears lol. If I were over 1000 pounds of muscle force I wouldnt be afraid of anything :P

  • Dogs <3

  • those two dogs r heroes

  • Whoever mentioned that a dog can kill a brown bear of this size is out of his mind. There's no dog on the planet that could stand toe to toe with a powerful beast like this. Bears have a layer of fat under their skin that makes it very tough to hurt. On top of that it's skull is strong enough to whack with a ball bat and it won't even phase it. The bear is the ultimate killing machine and that goes for black bears as well.
