Always got a kick out of her off-mike talking during the instrumental break in the middle of "My Little Corner Of The World". I think only the Beach Boys were more well-known for releasing tunes with this happening.
@GeoSilverAway Pay close attention to the instrumental break of this song and you can hear in 2 separate moments Anita both talking and either laughing or clearing her throat in the background! -
What a great collection of songs! Especially like the rich, lush arrangement of #3 ... one of the best i've ever heard. Thanks for posting these gems ... and the link to the Battle Hymn posting is a classic! It's a shame we can't get these re-mastered and re-released ... worth more than what is passed off for music today.
Battle Hymn was on her LP "Mine Eyes Have Seen the Glory". Can you use that? I found it recently but don't know what I'll do about posting. Maybe depends on requests. I like America the Beautiful more.
Wow!!! Anita Bryant had one of the most amazing and beautiful voices back in the 50s & 60s. It's a pity that there are so few and or no cds available with all of her "classic" recordings that were on the Carlton & Columbia lables from those eras. All of these 4 songs are great and I agree that "Little Things Mean a Lot" is a totally tremendous version & one of the best! She was a truely talented lady.
This is definitely one of the most EXQUISITE LOVE SONG I've ever heard! It is very moving and it touches my soul everytime I listen to it. Thanks, Ed.
She is very lovely lady and she can really sing,

If you had the album, could you tell me if "Welcome, Welcome Home" is by Burt Bacharach and Hal David?
