I too had a total hysterectomy in 2007. I am on BHRT...three step estrogen to progesterone. I feel like a million bucks: Great weight, full head of hair, etc. There is no reason to suffer post hysterectomy.
My mother died of ovarian cancer, and my sister had the same disease. Since ovarian cancer is very hard to detect in its early stages, and I had a suspect sonogram, I persevered with the surgery, fully schooled on BHRT, thanks to Suzanne. I have never felt better. DO NOT SUFFER!
