The video transfer to digital was horrid, all blurry and pixated. The acting from everyone but the scientist fellow was wooden, the vocabulary was elementary. Horrid, horrid looking and sounding. I LOVED it so much anyway I'll likely watch it again :D

This one is actually truer to the book than the 59 classic. Well, except for Grauben and the guy from the future. Problem with the orignial story is it's only the three guys and one doesn't speak. In the book a lot of the the story is actually Axel having panic attacks, and doubting the trip in his head, and being a big whiner. They sort of have to do something to make it work on the screen more.

He was truley ahead of his Time.
