The reason for low ratings on skins is because most of the people that watched U.S skins were people that new about the original UK version, and clearly didn't care for it as much. I live in America but I had watched the uk skins well before it came here. Naturally I was excited but when it came out in America it was a watered down version and not nearly as graphic as the uk series. American parents got all they're panties in a fucking bunch and ruined everything.
