Michael Waltrip likes talking alot of stuff about J.Gordon, R. Gordon, Clint Bowyer or whoever it maybe Michael Jeff Gordon sure didnt back it in the fence half the races last year unlike you. Robby Gordon is an aggresssive driver but he can hold onto a car unlike michael. The plate races hell about anyone could get a car to handle for them there especially talladega!

mw was a shitty driver from the start of his racing career he could only win in the busch races when it came to cup racing he sucked. like i said before mw should get of racing before he kills another driver. and remember the 2003 daytona 500 was called because of rain and mw happeded to be out front at the right time just like his idiot teammate did in the coke 600.
You are a flippin moron. You want to explain how he "killed" a driver? Sorry dumbass but Dale took the risk of blocking. Michael & Junior were way ahead & had nothing to do with that. Dale killed himself
@renee29404 It wasn't vehicular suicide.. it was just simply an accident that turned deadly.. they were going 3 wide into turn 3 with Ken Shrader on the outside , Sterling Marlin on the inside.. and Rusty came from behind Dale and took wind off the back spoiler and got him loose.. making him turn in front of Sterling , getting him clipped and over-correcting back to the right , straight into the Turn 4 wall.. instant death.
You've hit the nail right on the head. I'd be willing to wager that if it wasn't for Dale Earnhardt's good graces, not only would he be winless, he wouldn't have a ride at the Cup level. DEI was king at plate tracks for 5 years, and that's all Mikey ever had. People have a soft spot for Mikey b/c he won in Sr's last race, driving for Sr, and become part of Junior's 2001 cinderella story. And we all know that if you're in well with Junior, you're safe with the fans.
I'm no fan of either Robby or Michael, but you can't deny that Michael Waltrip is out of his league these days in the Cup series. All he's ever done is win a few plate races. I've been watching Nascar since 1990, and he's always been a just a funny guy with barely any talent. Just search "Michael Waltrip crash", and you'll see a billion hits. He needs to hang it up. And Robby... well... he needs to stop crying and just race.
For watching since 1990, you sure as hell arent very knowledgable. haha. Remember when he raced at DEI only a couple years ago? He was pretty competitive for a guy in his 40s, winning 2 D-500s. He lapped the entire field at Darlington in 1991 b4 a failed air gun on the final pitstop remember? Or in 2005 when every driver on the circuit took shares putting him in the wall when he was running in the top 10 remember? Some nascar brain u are!
You know as well as i do that plate races are such a crap shoot. I do suppose that Mikey's got some drafting skills, and that he did indeed hit his peak with DEI, but seriously. Even the worst drivers can get lucky. Remember Derrick Cope? Remember Lake Speed? You just gave me 4 highlights over the last 19 years. You're not helping your case much!
this comment box only allows 500 characters. I could go on and on and on about races where Waltrip's bad luck has taken him out of contention. When given proper equipment ( equip. that can compete w/ roush, hendrick, etc.) he was competitive almost weekly. Bahari, Wood Bros. and Mattei were all flat out garbage. They could never produce competitive cars weekly.
Have you ever stopped to wonder why he's never been picked up, in 20+ years at the Cup level, by a top tier team? I understand that it's easy to have a soft spot for the nice guys of the sport, but you can't blame below average stats on "bad luck" forever. He's very personable, and awesome for sponsors. Without that, he'd have been out of Cup a long time ago. You're entitled to your opinion of course, but i'm afraid you're part of the small minority on this one.
Look at the age of the drivers that these "top tier" are signing. With the exception of Mark Martin, most of the drivers were signed around 30 or younger. Had MW landed DEI-like equipment at 20 something, we wouldn't discuss this. And I don't believe I'm in the minority. Idk the year, but around 2003 he was voted the 4th most popular driver. FYI, If you are pissed like most people b/c he brought Toyota into the sport, I have nothing else to discuss.
In 2003, he was the 4th most popular driver BECAUSE of the Earnhardts. He won his Daytona 500's BECAUSE of the Earnhardts. He had decent equipment BECAUSE of the Earnhardts. MW came up at the same time Mark Martin did. Roush was a brand new team. My point is that good drivers can make mediocre equipment look better. Mikey is not that good. He's a C grade driver at best.
Robby's such a bitch...quit crying about Michael and worry about yourself. Who's the one who sucks? Who's 35th in owner points right now?
The difference here is simple: Michael's an accomplished owner. I don't know who Robby thinks he is by using the number "7", but he's no Alan Kulwicki. He really should change that number before any further disgrace occurs...

LOL Robby's not half the man Alan was. Thing is, Robby's got a man crush on Michael. Why else would he use Michael's old #7, he's also using Michael's #55 in the few Nationwide races he's run. It's clear, Robby's fag with a crush on Michael. Why else would he keep trying to get Michael to rear-end him
Is this the best you could come up with? Really? Robby Gordon Motorsports has been using the #55 in Busch (or Nationwide) since 2004. Waltrip started the #55 team in 2006. Well done Waltrip fan, well done...
Why are all Nascar fans looking forward to another driver in the 7 car? Can you at least explain that? I think curse words are perfectly applicable to your statements Renee. Clearly you will need to find a new driver when Rob Kauffman pulls Waltrip out of the car. Im sure you have no idea who that is, so please google it before your reply...
Way to look at the owner's points standings!!! Kauffman's just a partner...Michael owns the race team. Maybe YOU should google him to figure out who he is.
Wow, you need to Google where your brain is. Rob doesn't have majority ownership in MWR. I really wish you'd look up your facts before posting, or you'd know that. Michael is the majority owner. Rob cannot "pull" Michael out of a car but maybe he should pull Robby tiny pee pee out of your mouth.
See, you are apparently too stupid to understand what I mean, so you should really turn mommy's computer off and step away. Your cradle awaits you in the nursery
Jeff Gordon avoids another wreck compliments of michael waltrip again!

I would like to see robby gordon lay the smackdown on michael waltrip.
like clint bowyer said " michael waltrip is the worst driver in nascar "
if it was'nt for dale earnhardt michael waltrip would still be winless

i could also say If it wasnt for hendrick or joe gibbs, alot of drivers wouldnt have wins either. that was just a stupid statement.

Michael is doing the right thing by stepping down next year.

He owns 50 percent, and since its alot of his money running that place you bet he has a say who stays in the car; especially if Napa is unhappy.
Tiny pee pee? I can see this is going down hill fast. Typical Waltrip fan...

Nope, you just proving what an idiot you are. Keep it up. I love it. Makes everyone, including Robby Gordon, look smarter than you. Great job.
