The surfaces are powder coated not painted, There isn't any plastic in the area. Brake cleaner will not damage any parts. That is my bike I am spraying. It is a show winner. It wont hurt to rinse it off. But the metal in the area is aluminum & powder coated steel it wont be damaged. The part with the cleaning got edited out by the expert village guy.
Using brake cleaner as a general cleaner on the bike on painted surfaces and near plastic??!! Engine vacuum will keep the filter on???!! Can't get a torque wrench in there??!! No torque specs the for drain plug?!?
it's not a gromet, it is a oil filter seal, gromet is an rubber insulator going through a hole in metal so the insulation on wire isn't damaged and cause a short and start frying wires and all kinds of neat shit........................
Ok..did I miss the "cleaning" part that the title specifies?
