It might have helped. But then the webs would have faded, and the fact is Jangbi still wouldn't have enough to kill off that many hydralisks.

I am just gobsmacked at how long Luxury was able to keep Janbgi's probes off the minerals! I mean, the multitasking skill involved is just crazy - that was fantastic! It was almost like getting a stasis off on his mineral line really early in the game :P.

From there, seeing that Hydra break was beautiful. Too often, my own hydras get turned into goo from storms, so I always enjoy seeing masses of them winning the game :).

Wooh! I am loving this MSL final. My favorite Protoss vs my favorite Zerg! Although I have to say, Jangbi is playing sloppy. He's had two zergling runbys this series, and you can't let that happen.

Everyone saying that going for fast pool is bad, well there you go. That run was slowed down Jangbi so badly that he had no chance of coming back. I think Luxury could own Jangbi with mutalisks too. No way he d have enough cannons at one of his bases. But going to hydras is safe and ended up a really good mindtrick where he forced Jangbi to put more cannons and produce corsairs who obviously cant attack hydras.

It seems Luxury is the better mind player, while Jangbi is the better Macro/Micro player.

I'd actually argue that Luxury has better macro. He seems to consistently pump out units that can effectively deal with the enemy units. I think when it comes to a situation where micro is absolutely essential, like where jengbi has 4 or 5 templars and he needs to do well with dodging the storms, luxury is very loose with his units.

I think luxury has amazing macro and strategy, but just throws away his units in a micro heavy game.
