Simple, really. Just watch the face of the guy on the right the whole time, that's what made me laugh the second time. Besides, it doesn't have to be extremely funny, as long as you can acnowledge. . . acnolege. . . whatever. . . that the humor is there.

Yes. I actually scraped up my elbow. That's entirely my own fault, though... and it healed a couple days later. The punch didn't connect. I actually think we could have improved the angle and made it look even more realistic. Thank you!

I really enjoyed this. It may not mean much coming from a 16 year old, but I just wanted you guys to know that not everyone thinks it's ridiculous. I thought it was weird when I watched it the first time and then I read some comments to see what people didn't like about it and then I watched again and looked for that stuff and I think that's what made it great. :]

Would have been funnier if after the guy punched the gotta go to the bathroom guy, the puncher said "well I guess that takes care of it" or something that would detail that the gentleman who is now unconscious, no longer has to go to the bathroom... makes it have at least some sort of a punchline, while I do enjoy the concept of random humor... a lot of times it is but an inside joke that not many would appreciate as fully.

The dialogue felt a bit dry. You guys should hire better writers. :P Nah actually it was just badly acted and not very funny because it didn't make enough sense. No one says, "I'm gonna go to the bathroom" then sits there nodding for a few seconds until someone does something.  The "punchline" after that is just really obvious if it's acted so badly.

Of course. If you know comedy (watch a lot of it), you know these things. Bad acting really stands out. Next time, take out pauses after lines unless it's to create an awkward moment (ala The Office) or wait for the laughs to die down (stand-up/sketch comedy).

Guy on the left was waiting to see how guy on the right was going to respond. Guy on the right was deciding how to respond. That's a realistic pause. Plus, the pause was pretty darn awkward. It's just a hit-or-miss random gag. It hits or it misses. People like random, chaotic humor or they don't.

Like, It's not funny when a kid in my spanish class did this. But when he yells "GINGIVITIS!" In the middle of a quiz, it's hilarious. Because it's completely absurd.

That's a good point. I would have liked to have redone the punch. However, I don't think that would make a huge difference at this point. The gag is what it is. Making it realistic won't be a huge difference.

It's possible to make a skit under 30 seconds that makes sense, sure. This is defiitely a type of random humor. It isn't for everyone. What did you think of our other work, the Bucket Full of Cheese music video and the 3D animation, Extra Fruity - Improved.

Definitely the "What--the?" type of humor. You'll find a lot of that in our videos. "Extra Fruity" is 5 minutes of that. Some people like that type of humor. Some don't. Those who don't like "What--the?" humor are annoyed by it, which can be funny to the other people. Anybody have anything more specific? Thanks!

Monty Python is definitely "What--the" humor. It is very nonsensical. In fact, most people don't think Monty Python is funny most of the time. There are a few exceptions, where most people agree that they are funny at those times. That is why a single gag that is nonsensical will not be funny to most people. You are definitely one of them.
