I saw this about 7 years ago when it traveled to my city. It was my first seeing a live musical. And it blew my mind. I now love shows like Cats, the Phantom of the Opera, Hair, Hairspray, and for funny slightly adult humor, Avenue Q.

True Story:

I was touring with my high school choir a few years ago and this was one of the songs we had to perform. One day when we were walking back to where we were all staying we just started performing this song for no other reason than we felt like. It was the most pure fun I've ever had singing anything.

Omygod. I remember watching Broadway in Toronto when I was around 6. Just by hearing this song I can remember the graceful dances of the masked lionesses, how much they amazed a child's eyes. Truly wonderful music, African Choirs have to be my favourite. <3. TLK forever, friends.

Even though I have never seen the Lion King Broadway musical from the TV performances I have on computer and all the clips I've seen on Youtube I must say I love it I would have to say it's my all time favourite musical.

African tribal chant is some of the best and most beautiful music in the world. Really any type of tribal chant really...how do i describe it? cleanses your soul. South American, Native American, African, Na'vi (XD) they are jut all wonderful!
