  • your a butcher by trade right?im only messing, good video,it looks rough but it has to be done, thanks for posting

  • Great way to beat it to death

  • What year / style OMC?

  • great video helps a bunch , can you make another for Omc outdrives ?

  • hey mike, great instruction by the way, very helpful but where can i find your instructional video on how to install the bellows. thanks for the help, Mike c. (california)

  • No need to disconnect any cables If you look under / behind the drive unit you will see why this makes sense to put it in F - Just make sure the gear / shift dog is inthe same position when you re-install it.

  • do i have to worry about removing the shift cable at the motor to prevent damage to it? also in this removal process how do i know that the shifting is still in time when reinstalling

  • Use the throttle lever in the boat to shift it.

  • how i know if the boat is in 4 gear or how do I shift it to 4 gear?

  • I have the whole outdrive off with the Gimbal housing connected still. On the gear linkage,,, Should the cable shaft be fully in or fully extended to be in forward? Thanks!

  • Fully extended would be forward.
