  • Just an FYI for those questioning where this commercial was shot. I met Andy Fletcher, the CEO of Fletcher Martin - the company that designed the entire Gator Nation marketing campaign for UF. He was a speaker for the Atlanta Gator Club last week and shared the entire developmental process for that campaign. He also showed us the new commercial that will be premiering in the upcoming football season for 2009 (it's a good one!). He also told us that ALL of the commercials were filmed in Canada!!

  • Hello...if they filmed it in Gainesville it wouldn't show the expansion of "gator nation". The point is that you can go anywhere and run into other gators, which is totally true and awesome to experience.

  • thats gay i lived in gainesville for 13 years and you would think they would film these there. Jacksonville looks nothing at all like gainesville its acually pretty spaced out.

  • Yes the gators are very good. However, there is a team in Columbus called the Buckeyes. They are number one. They will once again claim the National title. Go gators? maybe. Go Buckeyes? For sure!

  • Very true, I have lived my entire life in Texas, but I have always loved the Florida Gators, and haven't an once of shame. If the Gator Nation could reach a black kid in rural East Texas, it is indeed...everywhere. GO GATORS!!!
