Canonical and the Ayanta team have absoloutely no idea how to create a Good looking Professional Ubuntu theme/artwork....I could do a better job myself
They have really created a horrific background. It does not mix well with the brown icons. Why do they just not use a nice photo if they lack artists? Some of the photos shipped with 9.10 are really nice.
Absolutely, there are other ones which have been around for years which are nicer. Though it does look nicer than the orange one that they used for years.
@t0mc0lins no, window's widgets will be on the RIGHT side (no pun intended) and in the print screens the bottom bar was on autohide but you can add a dockbar if you want too :-)
@billgoldbergmania Yep the subtitles thing doesn't seem to work for any videos I've looked at and always ends up being funnier than the video its self.
its better than the brown and orange theme. I like themes that make use of gradients. I like dark themes, or blue themes. I wish someone could make a decent graphics system to replace Xorg. The tearing is annoying, a synchronous graphics server would be nice like Syllable OS?
I could care less about Linux, I would like to see X11 replaced as a whole. I Would like something that looks just as good as Windows WDDM or Apple Quartz.

I heard on UF that they were going to put the minimize/close/restore buttons on the left. Is that true? Do you think they'll add a dock?

The theme it's self is OK is guess for a gnome theme. It still looks a bit dated to me.

@ASCII808 Dropping xorg for something else would fix at least half of the annoyances I have when using Linux.
