The original manga of shadowskill goes farther than the anime does (obv.) Most OVA/Anime on shadowskill deals in more how Gau grew into a Sevalle.

If they try to continue the series people are so strong the only way to have more content is EVERYTHING is super strong, planets always gonna die in every attack, and the sun is the only way to kill your enemies (yes thats a jab at DBZ..:P)

Hmm paused it at 1:41 and took a closer look, shockwave did form behind Lin Fuma, maybe it was the impact of it on the ground or that weird black shockwave that you see at 1:43 between Gau and Lin?

He's called black howling b/c of the howl that occurs when he uses his full potential after a shadowskill...so maybe the howl when he uses kannon is the explosion? Since it is a shockwave attack.
Ya, so Gau's kannon was just so devastating that the backlash from it impacting on the ground did Lin in? If so...god help anyone who pisses him off bad nuff to get him to go homicidal..lol

My final thoughts as well.
1.
Diaz Has the same voice as Dr. Akai of Maburaho.
Probably because Jason douglas plays both parts.
2.Gau needs to get laid.
3. Kyou needs to go away and grow some tits.
4. Lo needs to pay more attention.
