its probably the gun but it could also be that ur scope is slightly unlevel with the mounts and therefore when u adjust the windage or elevation it also moves the opposite.

try one axis at a time? first so it has got the proper height and when you have got it you try to get it to shoot in the middle by adjusting it sideways?..

fps increases range becuase the bb moves farther every second away while moving down at the same rate, hop up changes the whole thing with the spin but with the fps higher you want the hop of on LESS becuase the force causing the bbs to spin is multiplied with faster speeds

@TheAirsoftNewb fps doesnt increase the range dumbass. If you want to increase your range u need good internals. FPS is just the speed of the bullet not the range. That is why a gas pistol which is around 330 fps can't beat a AEG with a very long barrel that shoots at 330 FPS. Your the dumbass.

@TheAirsoftNewb no. This may be a late arguement but fps in the volocity. It equals the time in witch the bb reach's its destination. duration is how long the bb will go befor declining in volocity. volocity and duration are quickly mixed up.

You can upgrade it to a 400-450 sniper, sometimes higher, the G-Spec can be made really quite, but without the full barrel its not as accurate (the silencer works as a skrew on barrel extention giving it more range and accuract but less power). I've looked into this gun and seen it used, it looks good, i havn't used it myself but i am going to get a shock version, redwolfairsoft can sell you the gun, upgrade, and rails for i think $260.00

actually, higher velocity allows for a higher bb weight leading to better accuracy. so it doesn't affect either directly, it still does affect them.

higher velocities DO affect the range. Typically speaking, a higher velocity will shoot a BB farther. Its like comparing a .45 ACP (300 m/s) to a .223 (1000 m/s) which will shoot farther?

yeah. if you want to upgrade the spring, you must upgrade the trigger sear and piston sear. if you don't, the sears will wear down and you wont be able to cock the gun

Don't listen to AnTeSniper he really doesn't know what he's talkling about, you do not need to spend $350 to get 500fps. Sears work VERY well. A teflan cylinder is a complete waste of money and a zero trigger is not neccesary for 500fps. A good spot to look for PSS10 upgrades is trinity airsoft and airsoft atlanta. But the BEST upgrades along with great customer service are at EdGI Custom Works USA. BTW I have first hand experiane with all Laylax, PDI, and EdGI Parts and EdGI is the best.

Most recently released TM Gspecs are shooting at 300-310 broken in. My and my friend recently purchased stock Gspecs and ours were shooting between 306-308. To be able to shoot 500+ you're looking at about 350-400 dollars, and with that much money you're replacing the cylinder, cylinder head, trigger system, piston, spring, and spring guide, eventually you'll have to replace the hop-up rubber.

wat ever u do stay of the l96. really there bout the biggest rip of a gun you can possibly buy. i bought the bar 10 and it is so worth it. my friend patch bought the l96 where as i got jg bar 10 and in a snipe off i won every round. basically stay off l96's. i would buy the glock also as it is a pro side arm and has a high rate of fire. STAY OFF L96!!!!!!

I've got many airsoft weapons, in the more expencive end of the line. And one of my cheapest weapons, is the best one. The Marui VSR10 Gspec. A complete Laylax m120 upgrade for the rifle. And you will own. And why m120, and not 150? Because you dont need more, when the rifle shoots so damn great.

Its a super rifle. And nice hits m8 ;)

It's really up to you. I'd say it's worth it because I think it looks better than the standard VSR-10, and it comes with sling swivels and a scope rail.

well ive had the real shock version of the VSR-10 for 3 years now and it still shoots beautifully but im having some feed problems but its ok considering the guns so old i can shoot byro pens from 35 feet on a windy day so ide say the real shock or the other version of the full length rifle is a good buy but i havent even seen or fired a g-spac so i dont know how good that is

Excel 0.25g - standard 6mm ones. The BBs used in true BB guns are usually around 4.5mm, so you might be thinking of those?

I upgraded my VSR10 to 550 fps. My buddy shot me in the back of the leg from over 100 feet away and I got stung so bad I thought the muzzle was only a centimeter away from my pants.

This gun has crazy upgrade potential. It's cool to hit stuff an NFL football field away!

I estimate it to be around 290fps, but I don't have a chrono. I'm using 0.25g Excel BBs.

The VSR series are quite fun. At times I wonder if I should have bought the new APS2 Ex or Type 96, but that extra $150 only begins to justify itself past the field limits of my area. Still, put in a PDI 6.01mm tightbore, Laylax sears, spring guide and stopper and a 150 spring and it will be a very nice rifle.
