I used to be a republican, when republicans were NOT far-right and were true conservatives. I am from NYC born and raised. I voted for Obama in our past election and stand by that vote. BUT, I am beyond glad that GW was our president after 9/11. He was a tremendous leader in the wake of those horrible attacks. This speech and his first pitch at the World Series game were both great moments and made me feel honored to be American.
