It sucks because it's a no-so-optimized port of the PSX emulator that was made for gp2x, which did about the same on half the processor speed. I'm sure that the speed will be better once it's more optimized :)

yea keep blaming it on the program when it's the fucking iphone that's causing the lag. i'm running fpsece on my samsung omnia and it runs this and FF7 as well as Resident evil 3 without any lag.

The fact is that most iphone fanboys don't even know emulators exist so they never realize the true performance of their stupid iphone and continue to try and say iphone is better then winmo phones. Sadly the Omnia's 647Mhz CPU is sheer proof that iphone must use all its RAM for kinetic scrolling HA

For how powerful it is, the iPhone's emulators suck! I think apple's to blame. The pandora has the best handheld psx emulation to date IMO, 100% speed with no optimizations and a 600mhz arm processor, not that mhz really are suitable for comparing processors.

why bother getting an iphone, really. Get a PSP if you want to play FF games on the go, get a cheapass cellphone that you recieve sms and calls (cause thats all you need). Then get a nintendo DS for mp3, aswell as some games. All done, cheaper and more effective than a lousy iphone, imo.

The PSX4Iphone Emu is getting better, Iphone is better cause you can have all you want in just 1 device. Of course it doesnt have the "power" of a PSP or a DS, but damn! You have a fully multimedia Device with GPS, a 3.5 Screen way better than the PSP screen, 3G network, WIFI and all the other stuff in 1 device.

Uh... By other phones are you talking about Nokias and Motorolas and such? If so...

I had to laugh. These phone only have Java to play games and doing this would 1. Probably be impossible and 2. if it did work, It would be so slow that it would probably play at 5% original speed. Oh and btw, It might not even be fully possible for it to run full speed due to iPod touch/iPhone specs.
