Lowes Which company it is? A store or a manufacture? Which product or services you offer or manufacture other than grills? Today, things are very bad, made for money and so much troubles in it! It is a desolation for anyone!
I agree with you on today's things being bad, look at DVD players you cannot buy a decent one anymore b/c they are all china made crap and never last for nothing.
I think that to avoid too much compactor feeds and waste, it's begining by avoiding to do cheap business with asiatics (China) and buy locally with all made in USA. Usually, the USA made products are great, reliable and long last! - Chinese are beatiful, clean cut and cutting edge but the quality is not present it's only "mirages" with crap and defects... and bait for trash compactors!!!!
I agree, doing business with china is hurting out economy and skyrocketing theirs, and Amen to buying american. american made products are reliable and high quality. I have a blender from the 70s and it says MADE IN USA and it still runs to this day. id like to see a cheap chinese made 7 dollar wal mart blender last that long. then look at the lasko and lakewood box fans you can get now they are throw away stuff now remember the one from the 60s and 70s they actually lasted?
I presume that's a Oster (or Osterizer)! Me, I like 50's and 60's Westinghouse... and GE is not in rest! - For electronics I prefer tube operated or hybrid tube/IC as Zenith, RCA and Magnavox and other loved marks that I don't have in mind! I like doing jukeboxes or sound systems with TV consoles for this, I prefer Zenith and RCA and Magnavox for their models...
Yep, I worked for Builders Square, we put 24 table saws, still in the box, into the compactor in 1988 because of a recall notice for a leg clip that "may" fail.
it looks like a microwave.

0:47 "I could have used that"
I agree with you on that I could use a new grill mines all rotted and rusted out. that was a waste of a perfectly good grill.
