  • The cost of production is largely due to the process. You can't pick up the materials at Lowes and chop up something similar in your average garage.

This is very exciting - a manufacturer (and not an independent luthier) doing something original and innovative. The sound really lively - gorgeous!

  • I had a chance to play one and it played and sounded amazing.

  • I smell CHEESE!

  • beautiful guitar!! really refreshing designs

  • I'd play the fuck outta that guitar.

  • Nice looking guitars. Good innovation is a pleasure to see. Seem to sound nice too. Bravo.

  • I take delivery of a psonicsphear in jupiter orange in 3-5 weeks. I'm interesting in hearing the pickups out of phase, and hearing the pickups through my equipment in general to be fair. I can't wait.. A very fresh new looking guitar from one of the hottest and most innovative boutique builders around. Nothing more to say.. I hope it plays as good in real as in my head :)

  • @petehsuk Congratulations! That´s a really good and innovate sounding/looking guitar. How much did you pay for it?...I want a Stratosphear, hope there´s not too much difference on the price.

  • @ReinerLB It was £1549 at Coda music in the UK. List is £1599 but I got a sweet discount from a guy there named Doug. I should take delivery in about the first week of March all being well.. I can't fault Coda though, they really have been first class every step of the way. I can't wait for the baby to arrive!

  • Joint efforts are alright

  • Haha a MacBook Pro guitar would definitely not have all them ugly screws showing! I reckon Apple should start making instruments, you know they wouldn't play that different to any others and they'd cost the earth, but dammit they'd be so neat and pretty

  • MacBook Pro Guitar. ¬¬

  • George Jetson meets guitar :)

  • I played around with these guitars at NAMM and was impressed! Very light with fantastic balance. Fano also is making a bass guitar now and it is equally sweet.

  • If I got one I would so put an apple logo on the back.

  • that guitar sounds great

  • I think is fantastic. Leave strats for Fender and LPs to Gibson. It amazes me seeing guitarrists, who are supposed to be creative, go like "Oh nooo!!! It looks nothing like the 3 or 4 acceptable shapes of guitar!!! Oh the Humanity!!!". Really, guys?

  • @rafsbio i like the idea of new shapes and designs but this shouldnt cost this much, and is extremely ugly in my opinion. that's not to say that everyone will agree, but that's just my thoughts.

  • I really appreciate companies like Fano trying to innovate and push the envelope, I really do; but I just don't understand the market behind these "Sphear" guitars. Guitarists are trying hard to cop the tones of the 50s and 60s. They're not looking for "innovation" or new sounds. I think you'd have better luck relicing Strat copies and selling them at >$3k, I'm sorry to say.

  • Hmmmmm....no

  • Although the shapes can be "quirky" and an acquired taste, the feel, sound, and QUALITY of these is just amazing! Yes, they are pricey, but I can say from my experience, Fano, B3. and Giffins, are absolutely worth every penny.

  • so many screws?

  • hmmmmmmmm
