  • Just wish they would make them in my size.

  • Thumbs up for disposable diapers who needs cloth diapers when disposable diapers look alot better on a baby then cloth diapers do so long live disposable diapers forever

  • SO complicated.

  • Thumbs up for Cloth Diapers!!

  • I want to work there.

  • Lol dihydrogen monoxide!!! Can't stop lol!!! Get it H2O=water!

  • Very interesting video. Great job!

  • Urgh, I am soo happy my baby does not wear them! I do not understand why disposible diaper makers boast about how much liquid the diaper can hold! SERIOUSLY? A newborn, infant and toddler do NOT pee that much! That amount is almost a days worth! (depends on child) why would you leave your child in a diaper for more than 3 hours unless its bedtime!? and that SAP ge,l plastic, chemicals and nasty machines?! GROSS! I wouldnt want plastic/paper underwear and spend money and that! GO CLOTH XD

  • after watching this I am even happier that I am using modern cloth nappies on my younger two!!

  • modern cloth nappies are a shitload better for the enviroment AND the baby

but this was fasinating to watch

  • Holy jeezus, I guess there's a lot of start-up capital needed if you plan to start your own diaper company ...

  • lol, diapers rule! :D ;-) I'm a proud diaper lover! :) To hell with those that find me weird or strange or laugh or make fun of me or especially if they report me claiming I'm being lewd...

  • This helped me with an essay/asighnment I had to do THANKS!!!!

  • 4:53 THE KNEE HAS A MOUTH!?

  • i ate the core before its nasty o.o

  • heh heh, doody

  • Wow this vid just made me love my choice to cloth diaper my baby even more now!

ALSO, cloth diapers are NOT the old fashioned prefold/flat diapers with waterproof covers and pins; there are modern diapers just like 'spoises but waaay better. A cloth diapered baby is waaaaayyyy cuter and healthier than one in a boring disposible filled with chemicals that will haunt this earth for 500+years.

  • "And finally this machine opens up the packages and sprays the diapers with shit, after which they'll drop into these barrels. They will be used as cattle food."

  • @Toastget That process is still in R&D

  • @Toastget lolololololol or they will have some dood squat or pull out his johnson over the conveyer belt to test them XD

  • I love finding dirty disposable diapers and bringing them home

  • I took out my old diaper and cut it and get the cotton out and put on on water a little and then it turn jelly, a bitt like jelly :P

  • Dioxins? Won't someone please think of the environment, and STOP BREEDING??? "Disposable" diapers... where do YOU think they go??? Away? Just AWAY from YOU! They STAY ON THIS PLANET for A LONG, LONG, TIME!!! SELFISH BREEDERS!!!

  • @juliadennehy

Disposable diapers are the problem, not the babies. Cloth diaper, or even EC (elimination communication) your baby and *gasp* NO DISPOSABLES!

  • Polymer gel is like that stuff called "Diamond Dirt" that you put plants in. You see it at the mall....someone hawking those "bamboo" plants in a wine glass filled with some colorful gel substance. That gel is what's in the diaper.

  • Omg, I would LOVE to work at a diaper factory! I'd get diapers for free!

  • @Prim3StaR you wouldn't you would only get an employee's discount.

  • god i want to work there so much

  • Dioxins? That's trivial compared to shocking levels of dihydrogen monoxide in our drinking water! Won't someone please think of the children?

  • @holtek86 I see what you did thar.

  • @holtek86 OH the Humanity. Let us also not forget about Hydrogen Hydroxide as well Yes, you are so right We must think about the Children

  • @holtek86 I hope to god you're kidding...

  • @holtek86 Wtf duihydrogen monoxide IS water

  • Pampers and other leading diapers contain dioxins which are known to cause reproductive cancers. This chemical is one of the worst on the planet. Europe has outlawed the use of dioxins. Other sources you will find this chemical is in menstrual pads and tampons. Take charge of your health and the health of your children. Use cloth diapers and pads if you want to be safe. It is much better for the planet too. We use the G diaper and cloth diapers. Thanks for listening anyone, if you did.

  • @MassagePatriot reproductive cancer dioxins a chemical used in the diaper why that scares me what should i do

  • @MassagePatriot Hi! So what you are saying is if you get Dipers from UK, they won't have this Dioxin chemical in them?

IS it in the Pulp or the Startch Polymer Gel do you know?

  • Fascinating. I've always wanted to know how disposable diapers were made.

  • i think it's kinda wasteful to go through all that work just to throw it away.

  • Wow! This machine brings me so many memories. I used to be an electronic technician that worked on this kind of machine when I was working for K-C Peru. Now I do something different, but this video brought to me a lot of good memories. Thanks for the video!

  • some environmentalist is going to squeal that all the plastic is leaching into the ground water in the landfill

but i am sure that parents are happy for the things....lol

  • im 20 and i wear nappies for my stomache problem as its gotten worser over the the last year so at nite i wear i nappie. but when im out and about i wear tena pull up pants as there not as bulki and not less noticible.but im not to fussed wearing them as i know there doing there job

  • i am an a/b and i wear diapers

  • I envy you I want to but can't i am really yonge

  • lucky i wanna so i can shit or piss when i want and not care about it

  • @mmmmmmannnnnnn they have things called goodnties , theyre basically diapers for kids ages 7-17

  • That's cool. I always wondered how they were made. Thanks for the video.

  • that's cool!

  • They do make adult nappies with prints, Bambinos!

Its very interesting to see how a nappy is made, i dissected one of my nappies and there are a few different layers to the ones being made, so i guess each nappy machine has slight differences but the overal construction is still the same

  • Can anyone tell me what brand those diapers are?

  • I think these diapers shown here are just a local Canadian brand. "How It's Made" is a French-Canadian production, and very seldom almost never do they mention what brand of what product they feature in this show.

  • for the icecream one it was chapmans lol

  • they are supreme diapers

  • correct!!

  • I can. This was filmed in East Camden, AR at Arquest, INC. My husband operates this machine. That make many different brands, however, this brand you saw is going to walmart as a generic, low priced label. Walmart places the order for these types directly from Arquest. Arquest is a private label (second largest in North America) company out of Great Britain and this manufactoring plant is the only one they have in the United States. The head office is in New Jersey. Hope I helped!!

  • @charmed2dolphins Fascinating. For Wal-Mart you say? Wow! But a Company out of GB you say? That's rather odd. Thanks!

  • :/ the diapers take too long to degrade in landfills... and I don't think people wearing diapers for fun are nearly as wide a market as people who actually need them.

There aren't printed diapers for adults for one simple reason: the average adult doesn't like childish prints on their disposable stuff. On any of their stuff for that matter. There are prints on children's diapers because it appeals to babies and their parents "oh look a those winnie pooh diapers, max loves him, let's buy them".

  • Not true, there are several different brands of adult diapers with prints on them, the more famous ones are Bambino diapers and ABU disposables. However these are made for people who actually wear diapers for fun, or in other words for ABDL's (adult baby diaper lovers).

There are actually a very large amount of ABDL's in the world, especially in Canada and the UK, the numbers of adult babies and diaper lovers is staggering, usually 1 in 3 people are ABs or DLs (according to kgbkgb, lol)

  • it is just diapers

  • I wish they would make one huge adult diapers like these using this machine. I love to wear one :)

  • if they make diaper like this for baby why can't we can't they make all printed diapers for adult like they do for baby's if they the machines for us big toddlers that want cute diapers

  • i agree.. i think it would be VERY cute to have big adult baby diapers with prints on them

  • i dont agree i like white diapers

  • Most LEGITIMATE users of these products would rather not call attention to the fact.

  • well i think anyone who uses them is legitimate.. what makes someone not legitimate in your eyes?

  • Umm....someone that has bladder and/or bowel control problems?

  • well maybe, but i don't see any problem in someone wearing diapers for fun, they aren't hurting anyone or themselves.

but they probably could make adult diapers more like they do baby diapers in the way that they are made better to fit, with stretchy waistline and tapes.

people who need them wont speak up about the changes that need to be made from embarrassment. but parents complain about diapers for their kids. that's why baby diapers are better

  • @svfdgh27 They do check out AB Universe

They make printed diapers that are the spitting image of Pampers Bab Dry from the 1990s

  • @svfdgh27 They do. They're called Bambinos. They are adult diapers made to look like baby diapers.

  • how do they get the different character designs, colors and such on diapers.

  • The designs are printed on the outer cover material that comes in big rolls. The machine has to adjust itself so that the patterns appear on the product in the correct place.
