in situations like these, you'll never know what you sounded or what you said, all your fears are focused in one direction while the unconscious mind tries to tell what is really happening, so, were equal, dont mind trolls.
Good stuff. The Beavis stuff comes straight up from the chest - I've been there, bro. Some people run and squeal, some people stand still and quietly shit themselves, some people Beavis it. Good vid.
(I see you've got a few whale-killing, whale-hugging, and Yank-baiting trolls hanging onto your threads. You should get some pest killer.)
Me & my dad were stuck to the TV the day this happened & we were @ home in CA.... I've never been in an earth quake, but I can only imagine what it was like to be there when it happened.. not to mention being inside a building which I'm sure was quite large..
I've been watching a collection of 200 videos on this, & the people who think you should have gotten better "footage" are idiots.. There's enough video of the disaster that followed on youtube to make most cry... glad u were ok man
fuck everyone who is talking crap..they probably never experienced an earthquake. i've experienced many earthquakes and i still panic and freeze when they happen because where ever you go there is potential danger.
@kingratliff129americans do terrible things to their livestock, but for some reason many people ignore that because they arent endangered. They are still living creatures, the same. So all americans should die too?

Amen drgnztokyo. I was an hour west of Tokyo and it was, we were told, equal to a 5.2 so I cannot imagine what the people, like you and further north in Tohoku region, experienced that day. I couldn't believe how long the earth shook and the severity of the aftershocks. So sad.....
@MrRobloMan Because the very ground beneath you is shaking and you don't know if it's going to bring everything around down to the ground. And hey, car accidents happen all the time too but doesn't make it any less scary when you are in one. Nevermind the fact that this was the strongest recorded quake in Japanese history so "not the big one" means not for Tokyo. I'm sure if you ask someone in Ishinomaki, Minamisanriku, Sendai, or any of the aeas hard hit they would say it was the big one.
Wow this is crazy, such a dreadful tragic tragic day. You should just delete those whiney comments, no one wants to see that, especially not you. Thanks for sharing
Don't worry I probably woulda been running screaming for my life!
How did you feel when u realized what happend and that u wore in one of the Strongest earthquakes and the damaged that happend after and the number of deaths.
Well I don't know u but I'm glad that ur ok and where able to make it to where ever u where going safe and sound and no one should judge cuz the probably would have been screaming and acting like ur enjoying it and not scared is being an asshole and really Douchie
@luckylou69 Yeah... I can't redo my reaction. I was focusing on making a good decision on where to go at the time. I didn't know if the airport might fall or what. Thanks for the comments
@delitachan yeah so true. It's funny how in every video of the Japan Earthquake, taken by Americans, they are just laughing with this earthquake. In the meanwhile, the earthquake from past week on the East Coast was nothing compared to this one and still they lost power, lost cell phone service, buildings damaged, people scared,... Pathetic Americans
you hung in there as well as anyone could be expected to, don't worry what your voice sounds like nobody knows until it happens to them. some years ago I was in a building where someone set off a bomb downstairs and I have no idea what I sounded like, I just got the hell out of there so thanks for showing us this
@aresef agreed... can't deny it. Thought the videos were interesting enough to upload... so I posted them. I have to deal with the beavis and butthead commentary.
@hotbabygurl35 ... not at all. I can't defend how I reacted... however, that is how I reacted in the moment. Basically, pretty overwhelmed, a little bit scared, and very uncomfortable. Now that I see what has become of the aftermath... it is definitely not funny... or a light-hearted situation. But I didn't know about that at the time... Anyways, I wish all the people in Japan at the time were as lucky as me.... because I was VERY lucky. I am thinking and hoping those people will be safe.
