Hi, you guys may be able to help me, I am doing a school project on hondas from how they worked from the start of them until now, and I have a few questions... who was the inventor of honda? No they don't have a locker and I seriously doubt that they will have one any time soon.

Or should I have just answered - no honda dusent have a locekr and i dont no when they will git 1.

Take it out of auto old man and put it in esp and ride it like u got a pair it wont upshift going down hills thats why they have that. And for that silly tranny i love it instant power response and no belt slipping.The motor is has no annoyance its a beautiful hum in my ears when im riding. Yes i agree with u no engine brake but i deal with it u cant have it all.

@50pte But what if you are an 'old man' and you 'do' ride it in auto mode (which I suppose is why they have it;-) it does upshift at the wrong time and the long, 3 speeds are an annoyance, and it does make the tranny seem silly?

i have a 2003 rincon and the tranny started slipping about 2 months ago it only does it for like the first 20 mins when you start it when it gets warmed up its fine tho

@badassrover Mine does the exact same thing but only if its cold out its weird it only lasts 5 or 10 min then runs perfect

When u say no low rang what about in manual trans mode

When u say it has a silly trans does that mean it is really tall gear or what and how fast and powerful is it compared to a Polaris or yamaha

@Derek130b It's about as powerful. Silly is that there is no low range, and it upshifts on downhills when you let off of the throttle. It's just wrong.

if they put the transmission from the rubicon on these they would be outstanding

@gpfordstang302 And that's exactly what I told them when they introduced it. It seems the Rubicon tranny is made in a clean room in Japan and was/is at full capacity.
