You shouldn't have to take them to any sort of formal training. Just read what you can on the internet, ask the seller a ton of questions (Cause most sellers breed beagles), and ask your vet for some questions. I highly recommend a beagle. Very funny, cute, RIDICULOUSLY SMART, and overall awesome dog. They tend to have a loud warning howl; so it might not be suitable in an apartment; I'm not sure though. But yea, totally get one if your willing to train and tolerate a bit of terror at first ;)

Well, I only said that because I have had a few beagles in the past. But they look more like a basset hound especially with the stubby legs, and the long ears like a basset hound have, or possibly a mix of the two.

a small 1 and a medium 1

Based on the tags, I think these cuties are still puppies so they will have grown taller in a few more months. Beagles do have floppy ears but basset hounds' ears are much floppier.

beagles are the most loving sweet dog they would not hurt a flea. They are instintivly bred to hunt rabbit.  That is why they will go after a rat or something like that. They are hounds/hunters. But as pets, they are the sweetest most loving creatures on this earth. Wonderful with children!!! Ours is two years old the best thing we ever did was get her )

Ours once raided the cupboard where dog food is kept. They nearly ate an entire huge bag of it and were both the size of barrels, and one was sick shortly afterwards! Silly things but so lovable.

Nope, I have a Beagle, pure bred, looks just like these. My guys ears are so long they drag in his food! Bassetts have more loose skin in their faces and shorter legs, but DO look alike!
