  • I wonder how many people got laid by Bremerlos after they played this song. For those of you who don't know what a Bremerlo is, Sir mix alot can probably explain it in better detail.

  • This was the soundtrack to my senior year in college: 1991-92.

  • Yeah, Chris rules... and so does Matt. Kim is in awesome guitarist, and Ben... well, he's playing bass ;-). Soundgarden were, are and always will be my favourite band - God bless you :-).

  • i never heard a drum player better than matt, i guess...he can hold terrifying and asymmetric rithms which would drive insane even the best drum players...

  • all you want, chris (even if your vocal performance isnt the best one can expect from you...). but anyway the real beginning soundgarden fans...really wanna fuck women they have around. thats not a matter of sexism or something like that: thats only fuckin biology...

  • 'It's not really about sex, it's not sexsist, it's not even sexy' ;D

    Great song.

  • wwooww!!!! i was 21 at that time! i had long curly hair and goatee and i used to be a damned asshole...now i'm 40 and my beard is gettin fuckin gray...human beings' life's too short...anyway, imo this song can teach males the right attitude...

  • I know the song is meant to be a joke, but it really does make me want to have irresponsible, sweaty, fucking viking pig sex on fire. Admit it, you wanna do the same.

  • @JDarkley That was the best description of this song's effect that I have EVER read.

  • Man, the first time i heard this song I laughed my ass off

  • @StraightPunkEdge93 Same here XD

  • This was the last time they played this in LARGE concert until the Mansfield show on 7/10/11

  • wheres all the fucks.....aww

  • why are there comments about AIC and dick sucking???

  • Amazing!

  • BEST VOICE EVER.

  • @11joshman i'd say that stone temple pilot suck dicks, everclear suck dicks, you suck dicks!!! AIC 4 life!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @11joshman Fuck you, they do not. Alice in Chains for life.

  • @droge085 mint songs, but im not a fan of the name

  • @11joshman <---did they suck your dick, or did you just watch them suck a dick?

  • One of my fav songs ever!

  • fuck glam metal, bunch of money hungry pussies

  • @wangsta25 fuck grunge, bunch of money hungry wannabe junkies

  • @uzickismrad grunge was never meant to make money or go mainstream, it's just that a lot of kids in the early 90's were tired of all that cross dressing and make up wearing shit on MTV and decided that alternative music was the last opinion to go to. hair/glam metal's absolutely garbage GLAM = Gay L.A. Metal

  • @wangsta25 Glam is commercial hard rock. In seventies, there were Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin and lots of bands that went mainstream, and their heirs in 80-ties were those terrible bands: Motley, Ratt, Poison etc. Then came the 90-ties. Chains, Soundgarden etc. Their time was over and now we have commercial alt rock that is same garbage like Glam Metal.

  • @uzickismrad Grunge is also commercial hard rock but grunge was EXTREMELY unlikely 2 ever become commercial music. Commercial hard rock had 2 b soft wit catchy choruses n lyrics, n most of all commercial hard rock had 2 b mainstreamed accepted with light topics and good appeal. Grunge on the other hand is the complete opposite, it had hard n heavy riffs and lyrics that dealt wit obscure topics; basically stuff that wasn't mainstream. Thus 4 grunge 2 break n2 the mainstream is a complete miracle.

  • @wangsta25 and those stories that grunge bands never wanted to be famous, are child stories. They wanted to be famous, like everyone else and to make money. In the beginning they played punkish sound, and with time they "sold out" and began to make commercial songs. Those kids just wanted to have their bands, not to make fun of other genres. Grunge went mainstream, yes. But not with records like Bleach and Ultramega OK. They went mainstream with Ten etc.

  • @uzickismrad idk about other grunge bands n their refusal with fame but media pressure and hype was one of the main reasons why Kurt Cobain committed suicide, and Pearl Jam... well let's just say they wanted absolutely no association with being famous n this is a proven fact. As 4 glam metal, everything said about them which includes excess fame, commercial sell out, and being the center of the spotlight is 99.9% TRUE.

  • @wangsta25 Some people like glam, and thats their opinion. It is ok. And grunge is a scene, not type of music.

  • @uzickismrad this is my opinion only, but people like glam 4 its catchy hooks n lyrics, its outrageous appeal n hype, n just basically how it sounds. Grunge on the other hand is remembered 4 being able 2 relate 2 various people due 2 its dark topics n its influence that brought alternative music into the mainstream. You cannot judge music on just how it sounds. Glam metal has the WORST lyrics n guitar solos ever. The shredding technique is done far better by 80s bands like Metallica n Megadeath.

  • @uzickismrad grunge can also b a genre since it wasn't only limited 2 the early 1990's n Seattle. Early proto-grunge stuff like Neil Young n some hardcore punk groups can b considered grunge. N post-grunge can also qualify although 4 the worst since bands like Nickelback n Creed r giving a bad image 2 grunge

  • @wangsta25 Man, you are right, but check this out: to say that grunge is about hard and heavy riffs is uncorrect. Majority of the most popular songs in grunge are ballads. Majority, not all. Glam metal was heavier. I dont like glam metal (there are some cool songs, and most of the grunge musicians liked some of those songs), but to say that Glam was shit and grunge was divine is so wrong. Imagine this:

  • @uzickismrad i hav 2 admit u know ur music really well, i can rarely find someone who actually knows wat their talking about n music. i'll listen 2 anything as long as its descent, i don't really hav a genre i don't like cept glam metal haha. as 4 the 80's i liked the Replacements, Bruce Springsteen, Prince, Eric B & Rakim, Boogie Down Productions, Sonic Youth, The Smiths, the Police, Talking Heads, N.W.A, U2, Metallica n various hardcore punk bands like Dead Kennedys Black Flag n Minor Threat

  • @wangsta25 thanks man, you know music better

    "I'm sorry

    for something I didnt do

    killed somebody

    I dont know who"

  • @uzickismrad is it possible that more than two persons listened Deep Six compilation? Cornell sang there very well, especially on some track like "Heretic" XD

  • @wangsta25 Year 2020.World got tired of Nickleback and Creed and people begun to worship metalcore shit. Most of the kids will say: "fuck this junkie sad pussy crap, I am tired of this shit. I don't want those kind of music, i want breakdowns and screaming. Lets excommunicate grunge because its time has gone..." Thats sucks, no?

  • @uzickismrad i actually hope that happens, i'd really prefer metalcore stuff over Nickleback and Creed, i mean it's the lesser of two evils haha

  • @wangsta25 Glam metal was created by MTV. Glam metal was destroyed by MTV. Grunge became mainstream with the help of MTV. And know this: most of grunge musicians hated the term "grunge". Some say that it was created by MTV to sell music of all "greasy-haired, flannel shirt-wearing, acoustic hard rock bands at the time".

  • @wangsta25 And if grunge was a genre, I think that Mudoney and Melvins are purest example of it. TAD maybe. :D

  • @uzickismrad yeah i agree with that, Nirvana n Pearl Jam n all those "popular" grunge bands had 2 much pop influences in their stuff to be considered pure grunge; which was probably why they were so popular cauz their stuff was listenable. Pure grunge in my opinion is just hardcore punk+ heavy metal, which is something the mainstream cannot handle. I also think that the whole Deep Six album had some of the best examples of "pure grunge."

  • @wangsta25

I'd have to agree there, I'm a HUGE Pearl Jam fan but Soundgarden or even Alice in Chains, they're earlier stuff off Sap or self-titled, that's grunge too me. Though I wouldn't exactly consider Pearl Jam overrated, unless when you think of Pearl Jam you think of Last Kiss/Betterman/Alive/Even Flow, the hits, but they go much much deeper than that. They're more alt. then anything without a doubt.

  • @GrungeFiend I agree with you but I think the whole genre of grunge goes a lot deeper too... it's more of a mindset than anything, just like punk...

  • what type of peaveys do kim use?

  • @Teutonic1250

    Peavey VTM 120 heads
