that little motorbike engine is much smaller displacement then the engine you took off. save your time it will be very slow and gutless. trust me on this.

@SuperDickhead14 Displacement does not equal power. I dirt bike engine may well be 2 stroke which would give more power than the 4 stroke that came off it. Plus the original engine has a single gear, the bike engine has several. So much for trust eh!

You should do paddle shifters on the steering column. Have the paddles joined together and pivot in the center, attach a cable on each side, then attach the respective cable above and below the shifter pedal. That way it's less likely to snag someone in the balls when they go flying than a big ol gear lever sticking up.
