I remember Nivek skateboarding up and down the sidewalk on the east side of Clark Street out in front of the Cabaret Metro whilst wearing his hand painted Skinny Puppy jacket (with the large canine - a "skinny puppy" indeed - on the back of it) before this gig.
And the kicker is ... just about nobody even recognized him or went all starstruck over him. Heh heh. Just up and down the sidewalk on his wideboard like nobody was around or as if it were just another day at the office. ;-)
I remember this like it was yesterday. I was at this show up front, and when he came out of the smoke and landed on me... will never forget that. I had fake blood on my leather jacket (and some of the "intestines" from the dog in a bag ) for months wore it like a badge of honor Thanks for posting.
