WORLD AT WAR is the best epic campaign awesome zombies and great multiplayer. The mulyiplyaer was so easy to get good at and the campaign was gritty and gave you the feeling of the battle. Black ops is the only COD title to date that requires the player to be good to do good. Furthermore, it runs smoother than any other one in the series. Cannot wait for Black Ops 2. COD 4 was ok, but too many overpowered weapons and the mandatory UAV 3 kill streak was unbearable. UAV spotted, UAV spotted, UAV spotted . . . all fkin game long every game. WAW was ok and I hope they bring back the "WAR" game mode. The tanks on the maps, hackers, and the MP40 kinda made it suck.
@TheNYCDreams Black ops took no skill at all. And i was a beast at that game. 3.27 kd. So i know what skill is and isnt and black ops took no skill. It runs the worse in the series tied with mw3 because black ops introduced lag compensation which is the dumbest thing treyarch has ever released.
@RDA000 Disagree 100%. BO is the only COD title where a poor player cannot come in and manipulate the game in a way that allows them to still perform well. Lag compensation is a minimal problem compared to tank whoring, noob toobing, and akimbo raping. BO is still played competitively and competitive players and teams regularly still post gameplay from it, as it is considered the most balanced of the series mapwise and gunwise. On the 3.27 KD, congrats.

i personally have barely played COD4 but I would still put it second best after... Black Ops (my first COD I bought at release, nothing really annoys me (ghost campers and second chance is rare compared to MW2 AND 3'S bullshit), I love the map design- people will hate on this but MW3 is horrible, one sides always dominant, navigation around the map isn't very simple and I don't like the colours)

Cod4 is the best. It is the most balanced cod. Waw is good but the mp40 and the ppsh41 are overpowered,I loved the zombies. Mw2 is ok but it has alot of balancing issues and overpowered perks. Black ops sucks. The hit detection is terrible,the ak74u,famas and m60 are overpowered,the maps are boring and theres to much lag,but I loved the zombies. Mw3 is good but it has a few overpowered guns and the maps could be more open and not so tight.
Black Ops: Hit detection, it took to many bullets to kill someone.
Modern Warfare 3: Spawns, lag compensation, you lose connection to the host atleast 5 times a day, a couple guns are way too overpowered.
Modern Warfare 3 has way more problems than Black Ops and Modern Warfare 3 is STILL a better game. The campaign is better the multiplayer is more fast paced and gun to gun. The only thing that Treyarch beat Infinity Ward at was Zombies.
I think black ops is the best also but why the fuck does everyone hate it so damn much I don't see anything bad about it from every other call of duty.
Black Ops is my favorite COD. The second is three, and then WaW, and after that 1. Black ops has the best fucking storyline in the whole series! They need to make a movie or a Miniseries after it!

Black Ops had the most original storyline. the MW series is something I've.seen in Movies books and other games. W@W was pretty cool but had loads of inspiration from Saving Private Ryan

Yes, all of those things were insanely annoying but if you played it during Black Ops or even now, virtually no one tubes anymore or boosts. the call of duty series seems to get worse as it goes on. Remember the original call of duty? fucking awesome. Every call of duty game before MW2 was great, especially COD4. the only exception would be Call of Duty: Finest Hour. that game was shit.
@Stalinsurfstheweb treyarch tried way too hard to make a 'deep' cod campaign and just ended up with a silly rip off of the twist in fight club. i get that they needed a solid reason to link different conflicts (since they couldn't just focus on vietnam), but it was just really hard to care about any of the story arcs.
I actually loved Black Ops ... All of the games have been great in their own right ... I've played since CoD 4 and have had plenty of fun with every game ... perhaps WaW fell a little short but I don't see need for all this hate ... We all buy these games, we all play them ... at some point we all had a ton of fun playing them too.

It is basically impossible to snipe regularly, and I just frankly dont want to play small maps all the time. I thought the Maps of previous CODs were far superior to these. Here is my opinion on all of the Cods.
Cod- Good
Cod2- Great
Cod3- Worst in the series, but no one will even recognize it as in the series
Cod4- Best in the series. No doubt
WaW- Treyarchs only good game, but it was a great one.
MW2- Terribly unbalanced, and a bad game, but I still enjoyed it.
Blops- Ugh. Too much Ghost/Second Chance. Couldn't enjoy it
MW3- Fuck this game. It is Blops with MW2 graphics and then shitty spawns, and the worst hitbox yet. Yet I still play it... HALO/GEARS FOR LIFE!

I don't really give a shit what you think as these were, as I said, my opinions. I will say I prefer Halo, and Gears of War over Cod, but I have played all of these games enough to have opinions, and have owned in the past everyone but the first. So sure bet your money.

@XboxDouchetage Why does everybody think mw2 is unbalanced it is actually the best balanced call of duty to date. Usable guns in mw2: m4a1, famas, tar, scar, m16, acr, ak47, ump45, p90, rpd, aug, intervention, 50 cal. Usable guns in black ops: famas. Usable guns in cod4: m16, ak47, mp5, ak74u, p90, m40, r700, 50 cal. So to be honest mw2 was the best balanced cod.

@RDA000 I will be straight up with you. I loved MW2. It was my favorite Cod. when I say unbalanced, and shitty, I just mean that it was so broken in so many different ways. You are 100% correct. All of the weapons for the most part were usable in MW2. I loved that about it, but the tubes, and various glitches that they didn't patch just made it unbalanced in my eyes.

imo the rank for cods go like this (from cod 4 on, i would include older cods but kids nowadays dont play them) 1 = best 5 = Worst
1. Cod waw (WW2 what cod started off with and should of been kept like)
2. Cod 4 (only decent mw game imo)
3. Black ops (not as bad as people say imo, i always have hated mw2 and mw3 much more)
4. MW2
5. MW3 (Fucking terrible game imo, maps are so shit and its also the most frustrating cod, and games are supposed to entertain not make you feel worse)

If you want to know what is the best Call Of Duty, It's Call Of Duty United Offensive ... That game had the best story line ever, just like COD, COD2 and COD4, so basicly after COD4 got released, other cod's went way too deep down (Black ops too) You can like or dislike my post, but it's true and i want all COD fans to know it... I just hope they will make an new COD with first COD story's etc...

Yes, all of those things were insanely annoying but if you played it during Black Ops or even now, virtually no one tubes anymore or boosts. Also, I play a lot of SnD and even back in the day there weren't too many noobs playing it. BTW.... fun is an opinion.

@Stalinsurfstheweb treyarch tried way too hard to make a 'deep' cod campaign and just ended up with a silly rip off of the twist in fight club. i get that they needed a solid reason to link different conflicts (since they couldn't just focus on vietnam), but it was just really hard to care about any of the story arcs.

I actually loved Black Ops ... All of the games have been great in their own right ... I've played since CoD 4 and have had plenty of fun with every game ... perhaps WaW fell a little short but I don't see need for all this hate ... We all buy these games, we all play them ... at some point we all had a ton of fun playing them too.

@Kha0s1964 well I do not want to paint it so black and white, but MW3's maps are way too tight, cluttered, and small. They cater only to run and gunners. It is basically impossible to snipe regularly, and I just frankly dont want to play small maps all the time. I thought the Maps of previous CODs were far superior to these. And I loved black ops because of the balance...killstreaks were manageable, the maps were fun, and the killing took more skill. 'Cause kill time was longer I did MUCH better

Why Black Ops? The weapon balance is just VERY BAD! There are much overpowerd weapons like the AK-47U with grip. CoD 4 was the best. So balanced. Just a handfull of noobs but thats not so bad. The only overpowerd thing was the martydom perk. Black Ops is gay because of the:
Bad graphics on the Xbox and playstation. ( Not very bad but not good )
The campers
Second chance
Overpowerd killstreaks
The choppers sound like fax machines
