  • Cool overview.

  • I've had it for about 10 months and it's working like new.

I will probably buy EVGA motherboards from now on.

  • Is the new NVidia GTX 460 going to work with this? Thanks.

  • @muscleheadzzz this board is compatible with all cards that require one x16 pci-e slot, so yes, it will work fine.

  • I fail at writing comments correctly

  • Currently doing a build as im wrighting this comment. This board looks tight

  • nice.

  • Done. This review actually helped me alot in choseing parts =)

  • cool glad i could help

  • EVGA X58 LE Motherboard--overall how has it been for u in gaming n everyday use....w/b thnx

  • I've been using it for a couple of months now, haven't had a single problem - works like a charm!

  • @Nuva007 i have it also , i have had it for maybe 8 months , its works with no problem , only issues i have had is bandwidth on the pci-e

  • Ok i ordered this mobo :D

Wont you need 1000Watter to run 2 cards?

Thats what Corsair's PSU calculaters tells me.. will the 750 be enough?

  • haha nooo, of course corsair wants you to buy the most expensive one :), 750 should be more then enough

  • Can i ask why you picked the 750w PSU?

I want to get the 650 Modular one cause ill be running just 1 video card for a long time and dont want a huge power bill :)

  • I want to eventually get a second video card. Just future proofing.

  • how much bclk does the LE get? :)

Getting my 760 in a week or so, hoping to get over 5GHz with 920 on water

  • I'm not, sure, how do I check? >.>

  • well you have to have a good cpu for that too :P raise bclk and volts

  • I just used the dummy OC feature, which set it to 3.3ghz, haven't really rummaged around the bios yet. I'll check later.

  • hehe, bios settings should be fun. U should get 4GHz with EASE!! use 1.35v on cpu or if u have very good cpu use 1.25v. My 920 is running 4,5GHz on 1.4v :P 24\7 but the EVGA Classified 760 should get me better volts. Max was 4,96GHz with my Gigabyte UD5 but ran into bclk wall on my motherboard that was 235,6MHz. When went past that it dropped the turbo, that means one multiplier drops off so, hoping this dosent happen on the classified ;) well see.

  • Featuring less features.

  • rofl

  • nice review .. but if i run sli, the video cards have to be connected to the 2x 8x pcie or can 1 be connected to the 16x and the other in the 8x?

    what abt crossfire .. 16x and 8x, or 2x 8x pcie?

    i'm new to this.

  • I think they will both run in 8x but you shouldn't notice a performance decreases unless you are running two bandwidth hungry cards like a GTX 295.

  • Oops, I accidentally deleted your reply, sorry. I installed a GTX 275, to answer your question.

  • Would you recommend the EVGA sli le mobo

no issues with it or quirks?

  • I have been using it for several months now, no issues at all! Excellent overclocking features, rock stable, I love it. Plus it looks great.

  • Does this board support the new ATI HD 5850 Grapichs card?

  • It's got a PCI-E 16x, so it supports all graphics cards, including the 5850. ;)

  • how is your video card fit, does it fit snug/tightly?

  • I gotta GTX 275 in there, fits perfectly.

  • How does it run with 1600mhz memory?

  • Yes

  • Nuva007..OUTSTANDING JOB!!

  • I see everyone has been asking these crazy questions, but which is better between the ASUS P6T Deluxe V2 and EVGA X58 LE?

  • hmm, I think it's a matter of preference. This board is cheaper, but the P6T can run dual x16 pci-x. Both boards have great support and a great company behind them. I say go with the X58 LE because it's cheaper and right now it has a $20 rebate on newegg.

  • if you have amazon prime i would try to find it on amazon.. $20 is what newegg would charge for shipping and amazon is MUCH better at shipping.. speaking from experince

  • I agree, free shipping usually. At the time I bought this, it wasn't in stock at amazon.

  • is this better than the normal evga x58 as it has 4 pci-e slots?

  • I would say no. Because the PCI slots can't ran dual x16. This is the light edition of the X58, afterall.

  • is this board as good or better then the xfx 790i?

  • The 790i uses LGA 775, this uses LGA 1366, so obviously it is superior.

  • are there water blocks for nb and sb for thisi board?

  • Currently there are no waterblocks for this board.

  • how do u noe it supports crossfire? im looking for that on that board

or ill just go with original but it depends

  • All X58 board support crossfire, it's on the box.

  • Yeah it's in the chipset.

  • Who the hell still uses Molex

  • lol, alot of older cases use molex for case fans i guess

  • antec 1200 but isnt that old

  • Alot of cases use 3-pin connectors (which I prefer) because they are more compatible with fan controllers.

  • thats the one thing i dont like about the fans on my antec 12 i might change them

  • This board is sick! I'm Totaly getting this!

  • the pcie config is actualy 16x,1x,8x,8x,4x . the first slot is always 16x, the 1x slot will mostlikely be coverd, then the next 2 slots share a x16 slot (so 8x, 8x - bios option to change to 16x, 1x) and finaly a 4x but with open end to hold full length pcie.

  • 100% correct. The top slot is always x16.

  • i am thinking about buying this do you recommend it????

  • yes, especially if you want an i7 board on a budget, because this is cheaper then alot of boards.

  • yea its a good board for the price. there are other budget i7 boards, but this 1 had some better features than them. also u can have crossfire or sli in all x58 mobos, so its easyer to choose

  • i would get it but only 2 years warranty if u register it
