....just revisiting music I haven't listen to in years.I used to love Howard Jones' music when I was about 14yo. Had Howard Jones the 12'' long play singles album. If you liked this you should check that out also! Total Conditioning : A synth masterpiece!
i want to cry at how adorable this video is, how cute howie is, and how my heart bursts with the memories of a time without smart arse glitzy videos-and really good looking men with daft and sexy hair!!
WHAT IS LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVVVVVVVE
I totally agree with wayne2020z, people couldn't care less these days about romance, even less than before...my grandparents were married for 50 years and my mum married my dad and were together for 30 years...more than most marriages last these days...sex is all that matters nowadays, I fear.......
This is a phenomenal song. Music like this will never be replicated. I met Howard at a free Nightfall concert a few years ago, and he was a very pleasant individual to converse with, and he put on a fantastic show.
i was there in my early 20's at the beginning of the 80's and yes the club scene (at least in south florida) was amazing. great dancing music. much more involving (even on the dance floor) than disco ever was (yes i was there for that as well - not as much fun as new wave)!!!!!
I was born in 1982, but styles like this and awesome music like this makes me with I could have lived the 80's in an adult stage of life...like I am now. Great job Howard, and your voice is so unique!!!
I was around 15 years old when this song came out. I do feel bad for you that you were too young Robwater1982, but you do have good taste and were born in the 82 which makes you really "cool". Singers like Howard Jones, Nik Kershaw etc were the best. Most of the fashions were pure class unlike nowadays. I really feel like a fish out of water in this decade of gangsta rap crap. I want my REAL MTV of the 80s back.
LOL! I totally hear you about the rap crap, it all sounds the same and all they do is talk in a microphone..and POOF their a millionaire. You and I will always respect the 80's, as that was the best music era of all time. We need to invent a time machine =) Thank you for the nice reply Kquraishi and Safzuan, have a great day you guys!
Where did Howard go? Is he still in music? Great song this.

like lines from the other Hojo song
"Get to sixty and feel no regret "
that will be Howard's irony & legacy.
