  • Nice speed, too bad it's a plastic piece of shit. Try getting a real car, a 90's chevy or ford.

Affordable, reliable, and easy to fix. And the power can be put there if you want it. But no, you want your shiny new steaming pile of excrement.

    What a shame.

  • cool ,up to 100 mph in 2nd gear

  • 110mph

  • @twistedyogert It's 112 I assure you...If you look at the DIC it says speed limited to 112mph.

  • i have a shitty malibu, its a 2007 V6, slow as fuck compared to impalas.. but i abuse it harder than anything and it runs fine, had it since new

  • hey you dumbasses who talk shit while they don't know anything. this car is awesome. but the reason why this car is not as fast as a v8 is because if you constantly drive more than 55mph or smthng it drops automatically to a v6. now go get ur sleep

  • They should bring back the old Impala SS (1996), the ones with the LS1 corvette engine...just put a LS7/9 in it and BAM you've got a powerful kick ass muscle car :)

  • Hey did you see that gas needle?! It was at full when the video started :P lol Great run man whats your Impala, an LS?

  • @snakethebeast It was an LT i think..

  • @amdrewi was the speed limit 110

  • @ERIC933G it was 112 mph

  • @amdrewi ok if ya say so

  • @ERIC933G If you look at the DIC then it say's Speed Limited to 112 mph @about 31 seconds

  • @amdrewi lol i am just messing with you

  • ! Hay un problema entre el volante y el asiento!! Yo conducia mejor cuando tenia 14 años!!!

  • had my impala 3.9 LT 125=]

  • @ExposingNoobs You'll need a tune to make that happen...

  • thats not the top speed at all. i own a 2008 impala LT, and ive taken it past 135 mph

  • @lyricalminded3 did you take the limiter off?? i havent done ia top speed run in my impala but im sure its limited

  • @90Mrknowitall i bought it used so maybe the previous owner took the restricter plate off.

  • @lyricalminded3 hmmm i bought mine used too its an 08 LT 3.5 but it was a rental and my impala is strangly quicker than most impalas ( 7.2-7.3 sec to 60) im wondering if mine is off too??

  • @lyricalminded3 I believe you because ive had mine up to 140 mph a matter of fact i posted a vid on here of me going 130 i also have the 3.9 liter

  • @bibbs2014d I agree with that lol!

  • fuck thats slow

seriously dude my moms fuckin van is faster than this piece of shit

0-60 9 seconds in first gear and 100 MPH top speed? lol

my se-r rapes this american trashpile

  • @123mrkevind Hate on american cars all you want Chevrolets will last just as long if not longer than any imports. And they can take the abuse too while doing it.

  • @amdrewi and the car has a speed limit..so it shuts off at like 100

  • @amdrewi 60 mph in FUCKING FIRST says enough about this pile of shit

  • @benchod94 well..while u shift in 3rd to get 100kmh with your shitty civic... the dude is far away, on front of you, the time u slip the clutch 99 times between 1st and 3rd... rofl trololol.

  • @metallinen1 very funny bro

compare this to honda accord nissan altima or toyota camry 3.5 this piece of shit will get smoked

domestic v6s are pathetic and the tranny in this trash heap is a total joke trolololol

  • @benchod94 Ok you say domestic V6's are pathetic...Have you looked around lately? Ford now has a 3.5l Ecoboost engine that produces 365 hp...Then there's GM's 3.6l that n/a produces 312 hp that's up to 323hp for 2012 or the TT version that produces 425hp. So clearly the Imports have something to catch up with. I personally won't own a CVT driven Nissan. Honda's are underpowered compared to these new engines and I've driven a newer Camry, it didn't impress me. The stock stereos suck for sound...

  • @amdrewi now show me any domestic v6 made before 2006 that beats imports

  • @benchod94 Ok the same 3.6 engine that i referred to earlier was introduced in 2003 with port fuel injection instead of DI and in 2004 it was pumping out 255hp in several domestic GM vehicles. As per my research i managed to find that Honda's Accord V6s still haven't broke above that number and are currently resting on that very same number. As for Nissan they were just at 260hp post 2006. Toyota mustered a 225 max in the Camry post 2006. So IMHO i don't see where the Imports were so far ahead

  • @amdrewi toyotas pre 07 camry had a 3.0 or 3.3 v6 nissan was making 255 hp out of the maxima in 2002 this same motor was in the altima (slightly detuned) look at early to mid 2000 impalas, malibus, grand ams, aleros, taurus they were all weak and had horrible gearing like the pos in this vid

and even numbers aside how well can they make use of that power?? look at the POS 4.0 Rustang haha I beat one of those trash heaps in my 95 accord v6 only recently have they earned my respect with the new 3.7

  • @benchod94 You asked me to show you a domestic V6 that beats imports that came before 2006. You should have said before 2003 when GM actually starting to worry about V6's because for the longest time we all know that GM has only ever really cared about V8's and performance. Only recently have they updated their 20 year old designs for the V6's. Of course the gearing sucks in this car but a tune and some shift point adjustments can fix that and then this car would smoke most imports.

  • @benchod94 Now if you look at the newer 6 speeds they have proper gearing and make better use of the power. As for V8s a whole nother ball game. Look at the history GM always put the effort into them and even when the Imports tried they seemed to fail with a V8, finally they put one worth while out, the 5.7l Toyota engine, even at that it had camshaft failures. It all comes down to what the company focuses on, Imports have always been good with smaller engines and Domestics with bigger...

  • @amdrewi Tell that to my last Chevy that was on it's third trans when it died at 112K.

  • @wootness3000 All i can say buddy is i have a Chevy Trailblazer with 240,000 miles on it and just replaced a tranny pump at that mileage and it's back up and going that's the only major repair and i've abused it for 240,000 miles! I've pulled several cars with it and it just keeps on taking an ass whooping from me everyday! Service your shit and keep up maintenance and it will last you even if you do abuse it! Abuse it without servicing it and you will naturally tear something up!

  • @amdrewi Three transmissions @ 112K = roughly 35K on each trans... that's ONE fluid change. Hell, if I didn't service it then it would've have even lasted to 112K. Thing would've been dead in less than 10K goddamnit.

  • @123mrkevind Youre an idiot. 112mph top speed cause its limited to 112. the dash even said so, and the 0-60 time was more around 7 seconds. pay attention to when he actually starts going, not when the video started. And keep in mind this is a full size sedan that can comfortably seat 4 people. Its not intended to be a sports car. I can call a toyota prius a japanese "trashpile" cause its slow as shit, but it wasnt made to be fast.

  • @123mrkevind look closer ricefag

it got LIMITED TO 112 MPH.

...Limited, as in it can go faster.

    dumbass

  • @MeatballYaro2 No limited as it cant go any faster. The limiter wont let it go any faster

  • @jsnevels2 I'm sure it can go faster if the limiter was removed through a tune of some sort : )

  • @amdrewi Yeah cause it sure does have a long final gear ratio. Probally 140mph or little more it the engine can handle it.

  • @jsnevels2 I'm sure it would prolly handle it my trailblazer can handle 130 and it's geared pretty short compared to this lol...of course now it has 220,000 miles on it so prolly don't wanna do it again.

  • @amdrewi It probally would but you would need a tune-up. These impalas arent that fast especially with the 3.5. My moms 2008 altima 2.5sl beat one from 0-90mph. Pretty sure if it had better gearing it would be faster. My moms altima can only go 125mph. The engine can go about 140mph but limiter cutts it out at 125mph

  • @jsnevels2 Yea them altimas are fast but after it gets past 100 they run outta breath most cars do though lol. I know when my Trailblazer hits 3rd gear bam it slows down. But if there's any car out there that can handle having the limiter off and running 140 or better it's a chevy. GM just makes some amazing engines when they want to look at the old 350's still tons on the road today lol. But just about any car will last if taken care of properly

  • @amdrewi Yeah my uncle has a 350 engine in his truck 4sp auto (swaped the 3sp) it has over 200,000miles on it and still running he only has exhaust on it. But my mom had a 1994 altima and it has 200,000miles on it no problem it was a pretty good engine but then she bought a 2003 altima 2.5s (she was supposed to buy a 3.5) but it was a good engine till 64k miles then problems start adding on which you probaly will be wont complain cause the engine just came out but the new Qr is the best ever.

  • @jsnevels2 if you take it off, it can go faster. what i was saying was how it COULD go faster if it weren't limited to 112 mph. the actual top speed is probably somewhere around 140 maybe 145.

  • @MeatballYaro2 Yes especialy cause of the long gears but it would take a long time getting up there

  • My 3.5 impala does 7.2sec to 60 you must have had your A/C running that takes a toll on power and acceleration that's why I drive with my windows slighly down and the recirculate button on to close the vents to reserve power.

  • @90Mrknowitall I can't remember if i had it on or not hmmm.

  • man i got this car and i hate it.. it does the opposite of save gas.. have to fill up twice a week... never buy a chevy besides the corvette or camaro or truck.. the rest are usless waste of money

  • @H92Solja Buddy a Chevy is a Chevy to me i could care less as long as it's not a Ford or Dodge cause i've had to many problems with them. My brothers Dodge pickup is starting to do some fucked up shit. This car is very good on gas so you must have a V8 or something. I'd rather drive this than a Crown Vic that gets awful mileage i know because my grandmother has one and it sux the gas. Just so you know these cars are pretty damn heavy!

  • i think a problem with most GM cars well some of them is that they tuned the cars to save gas....to me they geared these cars to high and the motor runs out of breath by the time it wants to shift...i know GM can do better than that they have a history for good trannys so they need to rethink the programing of the tranny....just my thoughts!!

  • They did screw up when they made the gears that tall. If they would have made them shorter these cars would be a shit ton faster. But i gotta say i'm impressed that this thing goes almost to 60 mph in the first gear. That's just insane!

  • yeppers, the 3.5 Impala 2006 through 2010 cuts out at 112mph borring!!! next vehicle please :)

  • Boring lol it's the fastest of the one's i have done so far.

  • @amdrewi mines is a 2006 3.5l but its limited at 107..thats weird.any idea as to why?

  • @H92Solja idk man different years have different speed settings maybe it has something to do with where you live. If you live in a state that doesn't allow set speeds to over 110 mph then the dealer will program them to be slower than that speed. Of course if you want to get a tune then you can have that removed and add a few Hp along the way. It will even make these tall ass gears shorter if you want it too. I have a feeling a tune could really wake this car up. GM's damn Torque Management shit

  • Is that the 3.9?

  • Nope its the 3.5l

  • Wow! That's really surprising.

  • Yea lol cause these cars are heavy as hell and plus it's all stock!

  • Not bad, I'm impressed that you did it on a full tank of gas too. Most people don't

  • Lol I don't pay much attention to the gas gauge but i'm supprised too
