In that sense we don't need emperical faith in God, since he accounts for knowledge. But "faith" in Scripture means to trust Jesus is who he said.

We must assume God to then get to him, which since we must assume him we don't need to get to him, but are already there. It's presuppositional apologetics. I guess I'm a little confused what he even means by his statement. I wish he would clarify. But as finite creatures, we always require some faith (uncertainty) because we can't know things for certain.

Looks more like you're just judging someone. If you want to prove Langan is dumb, just prove his theories wrong. Read his theories (CTMU). I'm sure it'll be easy to read cause he "doesnt use big words".

@PerelmanPoincare First of all, theory is incomplete. To have a theory, you need to provide a hypothesis and experimental evidence (or an equivalent cognitive construct) to support that hypothesis. Thus, you're theory has no basis and is not a theory at all. You don't provide a point to argue.
Sadly, your IQ is not 999 since u dont even know what a theory is. Ur theory doesnt even qualify until u provide some scientific construct to support ur theory. So yea...I sort of proved u wrong...

@logictroll242 You "sort of" proved? There is no such thing. There are scientific theories and there are philosophical ones e.g. the existence of god which cant be proved/disproved. Mr Langan's theories have no scientific application. They dont predict anything and they cant be proved/disproved. His theory of "everything" predicts nothing. It's useless from a scientific point of view. My analogy therefore is adequate, because Langan is not a scientist. He's a sad waste of high IQ at best.

@PerelmanPoincare It's funny because you didnt provide any point to argue on or a cognitive construct. That's what I mean by basis. There are many cognitive construct and even in science, when you go far beyond the scope of today's technology, you move into what appears to be a more philisophical realm. This is true of string theory. Theories dont necessarily need to be applicable for today's world to be excellent pieces of work.

IQ is only an indication of potential. The real test of genius is what is done with the IQ. I really do not have the patience for the tests.

This is proof and IQ test doesn't mean anything. This guy doesn't deserve to be considered genius...easily not the smartest man. The reason why he still works are a bar is because HE ISN'T THAT SMART. He's a great test taker. I've read his theories and they are all abstract bs with no rigious scientific appeal...basically bs.
