Why exactly is platehead talking about Vietnam, Ho Chi Min, 'Gooks', and the VA hospital? I think that is about 4 different references to his experiences as a vet so far in this movie -- but not a single one that I recall in the first film. At least with Drayton his backstory of liking to cook was strongly connected to the first film.
